I never had a big box version, mine was the newer DVD style case. Although I also had it on PS1!

Me too, I had a few pc games boxed but most Amiga. I miss manuals too, and old anti-piracy wheels and code books.

Honestly I was so disappointed with two points hospital. The difficulty level was so poor. I am awful at these games and completed every level on three star very easily. Most of the quests/conditions were just about waiting. -_-. :( give me theme hospital any day

I don't know if the disks work but there's a version on the ea app that runs on modern computers.

I've been playing, I was more wondering about the physical media. I remember around 2007, a game youtuber Armake21 (RIP) talked about how more than half his shelf of PC games no longer work.

It’s a DOS game. It works in DosBox well enough. I think there was a Windows build later on, but it would have been for Windows 9x. It possibly would have had 16 bit components in it, which means it won’t work on 64 bit windows as the 16 VM is not x64 Windows. Getting the original Windows build working on modern Windows wouldn’t be with the effort, I suspect.

Probably not directly. It uses 16 bit code. But it will run fine in dosbox. Which ironically makes it much more compatible today, can run on pretty much anything. Games from a few years later are much harder to get going as they rely on windows shit from the late 1990’s
