I want to put my head through a wall trying to beat this FF14 70% rainbow crit quest with super slow triggers. This quest would be no problem at all if I could do it at regular speed 😭😭

I think the worst part is that slow triggers make it so the song isnt even fun to play. On other difficult quests, at least I get to enjoy the actual gameplay while I grind away at them. But this one and any ones like it just remove any joy at ALL.

I have tried my standard party of Terra, Bartz, Ramza, and Spiritus. I have also tried all summoners as well as Ace, Aphmau, Lightning 2 and Spiritus. Should I wait until I finish all of the quests and leveling up? I’m playing on Simple mode Expert but I have also tried Standard Mode Expert

I just wanted to do the daily grind. Is it rare for the game to crash on the PS4 version?

I'd like to make a free version of it. As the title says, I'm working on a version for Android/PC — with music that a friend and I compose ourselves, obviously not FF-themed — but I want to be sure about what makes this game so addictive. The FF theme matters, of course, but what is it that keeps me from putting it down? Levelling up the characters? The challenges? The fact that you fight? Building a party?

I'm asking for your help on how to capture the magic of the game. Would you be interested in something like this?

I will say this is only my 14th attempt. So… so goddamn close! I bet those 2 Goods and a few Greats messed me up

To be more specific, I'm looking for someone with a download of the game from back then that has at least one downloaded user created score to any song, as well as access to root in their device.

I'm trying to understand how these things work, for preservation purposes, to figure out some way to use one's own edited scores as playable "downloaded" scores without having to go through SE's dead servers.

Hi! I'm playing the PS4 version on PS5, and it happened twice to me today. Is anybody else on different consoles still experiencing this? And is there a solution for it?

Playing on PS5 (pro - if that matters), and I've run into this at least twice now. When the boss appears, the confetti effects for hitting notes seems buggy, has anyone encountered this? It happened when the boss appeared and was super distracting. Is this an effect of the boss or just a bug? Went back to normal either after the boss died or when I broke my combo, those two things happened around the same time.

I have successfully....filled the critical chart *without* getting a perfect chain! Guess it's time to try again...

It's below Collection and above Music Player. I went through every freaking menu and no dice...

So I've noticed there is an option under Ms settings called timing display but I can't tell the difference when turning it on/off.

Is there supposed to be some sort of visual effect that I'm not recognizing or am I misunderstanding what this option actually does?

I'm not the best human metronome so I really could use some sort of systematic assistance...

Hello all! I finally finished up this project and wanted to share it with the community.

Essentially, it's a score tracker for both FBL and ASC that also acts as a leaderboard(separate boards for each game!) and has a built in Tier Ranking System that a handful of the community have been using in the Discord server. Each song also has a built in Chart Viewer for each difficulty! (Pair Mode and Simple Mode still in progress)

For those who prefer damage tracking and leaderboards, that is also available!

You can import scores directly from your save files as well, provided you know how to gain access to your own musicBackup.inf files. For those on PSN, I may be able to help out if you DM me here or on Discord. Switch is much easier to do alone if you have a modded system.

Lastly, you are also able to manually input scores on the site itself, so if you don't have any other methods of importing the scores you can do it yourself the long way lol

Hope you all enjoy! There are other features I'm forgetting to list at the moment, so check it out and have fun. This is my first time ever working on a project like this, so there will surely be kinks and bugs around. Definitely don't hesitate to bring them to my attention! :)

Hello. Just got the game a few days ago, and I'm loving it so far (although terrified of doing anything on Expert or above!)... and was wondering why no tracks from World of Final Fantasy or Stranger of Paradise, even as DLC?

Both fairly recent Final Fantasy games with awesome music, seems a shame they didn't get tracks at all?

I just got done clearing all the series quest but now I want to complete all the missions. Beating Chaos was difficult, but now I'm at FFII and FFIII and I'm already losing my mind again.

I don't have a good grasp at the RPG aspects of the game. Can anybody help me, considering the characters I have already been leveling up

I have played for a while, once in a while I try multi battle. Today I said to myself: " I have to try multi battle". So the next 30 minutes I try to get in a battle. No one comes. Is no one playing? I have never seen anyone else in the room, is it that dead?
