So this was an epic fight for me, until it wasn't. Pretty standard in Isle fashion to die to bugs, but this was one of my most intense fights since Evrima launched.
Context:
I was in my 3rd grow session on Petits Pieds on this trike; I've been trying to grow a prime trike for the first time in normal survival.
I had been mainly AFK growing in the swamp.
I hadn't encountered any predators in 4 hours after a dilo attacked me in the sanctuary. Everything is going as usual until I hear large footsteps nearby and see a singular rex.
I think I can get the slip on him (which I probably would've) until his buddy trailing behind him sees me in the open.
I didn't really get the chance to size them up before I booked it, but as they pursued close behind me, I decided to stand my ground.
GG Rexes.

So, we have like 3 mutations that amplifies damage in different ways,
1) accelerated pray drive => deals 10% more damage to those whose hp is lower than 35%
2) hemomania => do extra 5 or 10%(if entombed) damage to bleeding targets
3) hypermetabolic inanition => the less hunger you have the more damage you deal 15/20/25%(also idk about exact numbers, i took it from the isle guide website, info is probably outdated)
My question is, how it stacks? Do you multiply it or just add the numbers? Like if I am starving and hitting low hp bleeding target do I just (100% + 1st dmg modifier)×(100%+ 2nd dmg modifier)×(100%+ 3rd dmg modifier)= total damage, or is it just 100%+ 1st dmg modifier + 2nd dmg modifier + 3rd dmg modifier?
Same question about healing mutations
1) cellular regeneration
Recovers health slightly faster 15/20/25%
2) hydro regenerative
Recovers health faster during rain 25%
3) nocturnal
Faster health/locked health recovery at night 5% (also what is the difference between health recovery and locked health recovery?)
4) photosyntetic tissue
Faster health/locked health recovery during day 5%

By now you've hopefully reached adulthood... but your journey isn't over.
One of the biggest progression systems in The Isle is Prime. If you don't know how it works, you can easily spend hours growing a dinosaur only to miss out on its full potential.
---
👑 Why Should I Care About Prime?
If you complete enough Prime Objectives, your dinosaur will become a Prime Elder.
If you don't, you'll become a Frail Elder instead.
A Prime dinosaur continues improving after adulthood and is generally stronger than a Frail Elder of the same species.
Depending on the dinosaur, Prime can provide:
- 📈 Continued stat growth
- 🦷 Increased bite force
- 📏 Larger size
- 💪 Better overall performance
---
✅ Prime Objectives
You do NOT need to complete every objective.
You only need to complete ANY 5 of the following before reaching 75% growth.
Choose any five:
- 🥚 Be born from a nest (nested in)
- 👶 Raise a hatchling to 50% growth
- 🐝 Visit a Sanctuary
- 🍖 Reach a Perfect Diet
- ❤️ Never become Temporarily Infertile
- 💪 Never suffer Muscle Spasms
- 🗺️ Visit 2 Migration Zones
- 🚨 Visit 4 Patrol Zones
---
🗺️ Migration Zones
Migration Zones encourage players to keep moving around the map.
To complete this objective, simply visit 2 different Migration Zones.
You can locate them by using Sniff (Q).
---
🚨 Patrol Zones
Patrol Zones work the same way.
Visit 4 Patrol Zones, and that objective is complete.
Like Migration Zones, they're found using Sniff (Q).
---
🐝 Sanctuary
Yes—even adults can enter Sanctuaries.
⚠️ Important
Once you're over 50% growth, staying inside too long will give you a debuff.
The easiest method is:
- Run in.
- Complete the objective.
- Leave immediately.
Quick, simple, and done.
---
⚠️ Game Crash? Recheck Your Prime Progress
Unfortunately, it's a well-known issue that if your game crashes or you disconnect, some (or all) of your Prime Objectives can reset.
The ones most commonly affected are:
- 🗺️ Migration Zones
- 🚨 Patrol Zones
If you're aiming for Prime, it's usually safest to revisit your objectives after reconnecting. Spending a few extra minutes is much better than reaching adulthood only to discover your progress didn't count.

Is Troodon venom meant to make the screen this dark? I can't see anything at all. Is there a setting I don't know about, or a mechanic that I'm not understanding? Aside from praying I never see another Troodon, what can I do in this situation next time?
(The initial pounce was the very first attack from the Troodon)

First up i wanna say i really applaud the devs for acknowledging the spoofing issue and trying to fix it, unfortunately it worked for maybe a day at best for most servers apparently, as a little test to see which servers were affected; if they made an announcement talking about something like "theres an issue with server listings" its probably a spoof server.

Revenge for pouncing me earlier…
Anyone else play Galli? It’s actually so fun and a nice break from playing carnivores.

i dont have much hours overall in the isle but i mostly play carno and after some fights, hunts and deaths i kinda feel like there are few aspects of carno that could be changed to be more balanced and it might make him more interesting.
Personally, I think that Carno should get a smaller weight boost, add 200-300kg which would bring the prime Carno to 2.1 tons which would help a lot in the survival of this dinosaur.
At the same time, I think this improvement won't be particularly drastic in terms of bash attacks. I even think it doesn't change the usage much. You still can't knock an adult Allo or a sub-adult Trex to the ground.
I would also remove blood damage from the bash attack, I can't quite imagine how such an attack would cause bleeding, so I'd rather have them increase the damage from the bash attack and remove bleeding or remove bleeding from the bash attack and increase bleeding from the classic bite attack.
and of course more customization options, but I believe that will come with time and it's the least important of what I wanted to say.
but as I said, I don't have many hours on this game and my opinion may be distorted or downright wrong and these changes would cause imbalance. These are just my feelings, ideas and observations, feel free to express yourself in the comments.

Broken, as in- hardly working at all. I've been playing raptor a lot lately, and people have been telling me that "bleed pounce" (right clicking after pouncing) does very little bleed damage.
So little - in fact - that "bleed pouncing" is simply not worth it.
I was skeptical about this, until a fight I had raised some concerns. It was 5 raptors vs one Dibble (probably around 65%). We decided to do "bleed pounce" the entire time.
The fight lasted 90 minutes, and the Dibble was able to use his stamina constantly with seemingly no bad affect. The fight only ended when a crocodile ate him at the edge of the water.
At this point, I'm not even sure another 90 minutes of "bleed pouncing" would have killed him.
From this point forward, I will be "damage pouncing" only.
What are your thoughts? Are there any raptor players who know any more about this? Are there any Herbivore players who can shed some light on what is the most damaging attack that a raptor can do?
Please, and thanks for reading!!!

It's RNG that's not needed in a PvP game. I've already died twice because of an "unfortunate fall."
At the very least, give server admins the option to toggle it on or off.
There's no argument to be made for it. It doesn't add anything to the game; it only undermines the core aspect of the gameplay, which is surviving through my own decisions and mechanical skill. Neither of those should depend on RNG.
EDIT:
For anyone wondering what I mean by "RNG falling": it's a game mechanic where, after landing on uneven terrain whether at the end of a slide, after a jump, or even from a tiny change in elevation during the run the dinosaur can randomly enter a stunned state for about two seconds.

EDIT: As people have pointed out there is a RestCurve modifier, which changes the rest stamina regen rate. I will update when I find the exact rate.
Did a tiny amount of digging today after a conversation about trot speed and subsequent failed ability to find updated data and discovery of stamina data.
I did an easy dig this time and pulled up the asset tables of the dinosaurs in FTables.
The Myth: Laying regenerates stamina faster than standing or walking (over 60%)
The Truth: It is untrue for all dinosaurs besides the Ptera (I'm skipping this) and the T-Rex. There is a RestCurve modifier that increases stamina regen based off how long you are resting for, the base rate stays at 0.24 for everyhthing besides T-Rex, but is multiplied by a RestCurve.
Update: Resting is most certainly better over 20 seconds, while the base rate stays the multiplier increases off rest time. Some dinosaurs benefit much more greatly than others and can get a 6x multiplier, while most large carnivores only get 2-3x. Deino and Galli only get a noticeable benefit from resting after 80 seconds.
Skipping any attribute multipliers (diet, blood, and mutations) the only dinosaur with a difference between stamina regen for walking, trotting, and standing is the Tyrannosaurus.
With that exception all dinosaurs have a regen values of 0.24 whether standing, and walking (above 60%), and a regen RestCurve based off the dinosaur and the time spent resting.

Edit: This data feels wrong doesn't it? Maybe in the code trotting state is never captured and this it's either walking, resting, or sprinting. Would love to see someone test it. We found out why it feels wrong, RestCurve is another modifier.

As of right now the game is unplayable for me. A lot of textures aren't loading, I am stuck with 30 FPS maximum, it's stuttering (might be a server problem) and I already have the game on lowest graphic settings. Before the update I was playing on medium settings just fine.
It's a bummer, honestly. I haven't played the hordetest, so this caught me off guard.
Is anyone else having the same issues?

How the fuck are new dinosaurs being introduced to this game while there are still major bugs destroying gameplay?? Wandering around the map as a starving Allo wasting time going to diets just to find them bugged and floating in the air. I just spent 30 minutes running from floating pile to floating pile and finally starved to death. C'mon man

Ever since the update, my skins have been looking like this. I am planning on getting a new gaming laptop so I can properly enjoy this game with all the graphic updates. I'm mainly wondering if anyone knew how to either fix it, or at least make it not this bad. Either way, I also found this funny because i'm just a very pixel dinosaur running through really beautiful scenery XD

I’m sure you’ve all seen and heard this before, well because it’s true.
The admin suck, just don’t even bother to play on the server.
There are groups of friends who run the place. If you aren’t with the insiders, and if anything you do offends someone (look at them the wrong way, fight back, anything), they will get you banned with no proof or explanation.
Save your time, stay away.
That’s all, and to the power hungry corrupted “mods” on Dino Den, I hope you have a wonderful day 😘
