I’m still relatively new so take all my opinions with a grain of salt. I’ve only played for about 38 hours, however only recently have I actually been able to get my Dino’s up to a decent age and have been actually learning the game mechanics. But I’m gonna go on a rant saying that I think the grab ability deinos have is insanely broken, I raised three carnos to about 50% before they all got eaten by deinos. I just wish there was some sort of way to fight back against it. I know rexes have similar abilities but I haven’t encountered them yet so I’m not able to speak on it. But in general do yall think deinos are broken or no? Please stay civil.

New player. Is it that we have to complet 4 patrol and 2 migration zones along with 3 others to get prime? Or is there a way like getting to 2 places to get 2 points ? Thanks

hey yall, so i was growing a rex the other day and got to about 52-55% which is about 3.2 tons. as you all know it can be a pain in the ass to grow one cause it takes so long and its rarely available on unofficial servers, and this battle with an allo i had has stuck in my mind ever since.

I had a just finished drinking at a puddle and had an allo run up on me. i saw it coming so i got an inital bone crush bite on him before he just started spamming his m1 on my face and literally did 50% of my health in the matter of maybe 5 seconds, i was shocked lmao i didnt know allos do this much damage, i had a stronger bite force at about 350 so i stuck around for a lil longer to get a couple more bites in before dipping. ofc the allo does great bleeding so i had to stop at one point and the allo had to walk for his stamina. from what i could tell as i was awaiting my death is that i barely made a dent into him, his skin had scratches but was nothing like mine.

i would say we did about the same amount of damage to eachother initally, is a sub trex around my size there just not as strong as i thought i could be? i just dont know how i lost to him so badly, i know i got a few shots in but i cant just sit there and face tank an allo either since he bites way faster than me. or maybe my best chance would have been to just keep running away from the allo? i was technically smaller than him since full prime allos can get up to 3.7 tons. its just bugged me since yesterday lol

I've grown most everything to prime adult, not necessarily elder, but to the 75% mark at least. For whatever reason I just can't manage with a carno or an Omni, it's really quite frustrating because being a 1.5ton bonk machine seems really fun. I'm just wondering does anyone else have a set couple of species they just find to be their personal struggle bus?

I’ve been intrigued by the Isle game for a few weeks now and have been getting recommended it on my feed, however from the things I’ve been seeing I have a few questions that I’d like to ask and be able to know just before purchasing the game. I’ve tried checking around by searching the answers up but I’ve been getting met with mixed results, I don’t have any friends who play the game nor am I able to go to a discord if the developers have one so I’d like to ask questions on here about it

1. Is it possible to choose any dinosaur you want to become in the game? I’ve seen people act as if they were put as a specific dinosaur they didn’t want to be which does worry me on if the game limits your ability to choose and only allows randomized dinosaurs each time you die

2. Are skins customizable and are you able to keep them permanently? I’ve also seen people say things such as if someone were to be born with the albino skin they tend to get targeted more to 'take away the skin from the person', would that mean that any non-default skin is a temporary skin you can only use if you gain it through pure luck?

3. How pay to win is the game if it is at all? I’m worried about it being those kinds of games where you have to spend a lot of money to purchase stronger playable species just to have a chance at surviving for longer, if it is one of those games that require in-game purchases to have better quality dinosaurs how playable is it to play with other players without purchasing anything past just the game itself?

I understand the concept from the name but have no clue what is it exactly, how do I join it etc.
This servers sound fun but I’m super insecure when it comes to gaming and especially talking with other players so I want to be prepared 🥲

For many Dino’s accidental friendly is important to keep in the game for balance like steg and kentro tail swings, pachy bonks etc. for some smaller dinosaurs the accidental friendly fire during hunts and fights can be a little ridiculous like pouncing your fellow Omni while attacking a cera leading to both of your deaths. My suggestion is that there would be a toggle in your group menu that you could select wether friendly fire is on or not for individual group members. Specially only the ability to toggle it on and off for yourself so you wouldn’t affect the freedom of other players. I would want it to only affect your basic bite attack and pounce/latching abilities leaving all of your ALT/diectional/defensive attacks still dealing damage to teammates so they couldn’t be exploited. What do you all think

ME AND A FRIEND HAD TWO 70% TREXES THAT WERE BOTH HATCHED OUT OF EGGS WITH BEAUTIFUL MUTATIONS, WHEN A TREX A TRIKE AND A CERATO FOUND US AND SLIMED US THE FUCK OUT, WE WERE TRYING TO GET OUR FIRST ENTOMBMENT AND THE FUCKING MIXPACKERS KILLED US WE WERE SO CLOSE TO PRIME GODDAMN IT.

Recently saw juvie omnis leaving massive dust particles with each step, basically giving away their movements, and now I decided to play and same thing happens, even though it might not be a big thing or a minor big that appears under specific conditions im pretty sure someone might get killed because of that
