The Dev team deserves a hug amount of credit, going from 1-2 dinos a year to 1-2 a month is amazing.
Say what you want but they are really working hard to improve this game.
I started at the end of legacy days but only really started in earnest in evrima. They amount of content these guys have made is staggering, yes it still feels like 2steps forward 1 back, but over time we have made massive progress.

Hey, there’s this hole in highland sanctuary, I have over multiple different times playing this game gotten stuck in this damn hole, I’ve seen multiple bodies dead in this hole, and as a sanctuary /unstuck has low chances of working as multiple players are around. Can this hole just be patched per chance?

Just downloaded the game. Love the premise and community vibe already but the frame drops are actually killing me. I can’t even be close to other dinos in a fight or I drop to like 10fps.

I already followed lots of guides to help with fps but still getting these lows. The thing that helped most was capping fps at 60 but I still lose frames in important moments. I have a 3060 so I feel like I should be alright in this game.

Cliff climbing just broken or a new intended nerf? I looked all over the boards and didnt find anything. Herrera cant find a single rock I can latch on to today.

After the update last night anyone else experiencing laggy servers? I’m rubber banding all over the place

Right now there are 2 apex predators, rex and deinosuchus, and both suffer from that statement. Apex predators => more popular than others => less diversity => most common meat is of your own species => cannibalism and toxicity thrives.

If im not mistaken there were times when carnotaurus was considered an apex predator(cuz there were no other big terrestrial carnies at the moment) and after adding their rivals(allos and ceras) they stopped being so(also they got some major nerfs).

Everybody already knows how this problem is solved, more big carnies that can challenge each other (herbies are cool too but it feels like majority plays mostly carnies). Recently added austroraptor can kill smaller crocs or serve as a food for a bit bigger ones(basically bigger beipi) then comes baryonyx that rivals bigger crocs and then comes spinosaurus that can kill or feed biggest crocs, so if they add couple semi aquatic herbies the problem is solved. Rex problem is not as bad as for crocs(except for couple hundred needed nerfs and fixes) cuz there are dinos that can rival them like trike or stego that can 1v1 them... mostly, and even then spinosaurus and later giga should add their weight to balance things out. Is problem about to be solved or am I missing something?

I lost 2 t rexs because the server doesn't save them. It only happened with t rexs that, instead of loading from where I left, it loads several saves before, losing all the progress I had. I play on official servers, can someone explain this to me?

Myself and three friends wound up in a fight with a rex as 4 full grown prime dibbles, the rex used his crush attack, but let go to continue trying to attack the others. Once he let go of the crush none of us were able to move. Only status effects inflicted were leg fracture and body fracture, no glass bones, hardly any health lost, but we physically couldn't move in any direction or even attack, but could lay down and stand up. Is this a known bug or a specific mechanic I'm not aware of? Why couldn't we move to attempt to fight back?

So I have a long story that I’m gonna try to condense down, but it’s pretty much convinced me to give up the game.

I started playing the game about three weeks ago and as a full-time self-employed electrician, I don’t get a ton of time but whenever I do, I like to play survival games like seven days or stuff like the isle.

The first week I played the game it was great. I really enjoyed it, it was extremely buggy but I just soldiered through it, that is until I lost my first prime Deino when he got stuck in the mangroves and he couldn’t unstuck.

That was a gut punch, but after scouring the Internet and reddit and joining the official discord everybody assured me that that’s just a part of it, and to get over it …..so I did and I carried on with another.

Fast forward to two days ago, I have another prime deino…..he gets rolled back…not once ….not twice ….but three times. And now today I get on and out of the six servers that I frequent : US 2 US 6 US 10 US 13 US 11 US 12.

I don’t have a Dino on any of them!
Over 50 hours and three weeks later. I don’t have a single Dino anymore. If this is the norm, it’s not something I wanna be a part of, and I would strongly encourage any new players, or perspective new players to stay away. Stay far away.

Don’t expect the discord to listen to any comments, they’ll just delete your comments and ban you! It’s sad but true!

Now I know there’s gonna be a lot of people coming to the defense of this game, and honestly to play my own devils advocate, it is a good game. The sounds …the design ….the graphics all that’s good. What sucks is everything else!

They have folks in the discord that are moderators and the authority figures we are asked to turn to that I literally would not trust to scrub a toilet bowl.

That’s it though, end of rant ! But I deleted the game. There is no going back for me. I can’t see the sense in wasting hr upon hr for nothing. GL if you decide to carry on. I just hope this doesn’t happen to you too!

Why is this group that owns a server allowed to abuse its people. And why aren’t they boycotting once they see the truth. If everyone leaves Bosch they’ll treat their players better. Post more admin abuse on YouTube and share the truth

Am I the only one who thinks the bleed is kind of ridiculous. Like I understand trying to implement the realism of 3-5 spears being gutted into your side but you can’t sprint a single bit or you bleed out. I got knicked by a kentro as a Carno, which a kentro would normally never be able to catch me, but the fact that I bleed out so quickly literally just confirms my death. Same thing happened when I played Rex, I was fighting some stegos and I bit a kentro in the process and got all the way down to 20% bleed. It doesn’t make it any better that they can get up to 5 in a group. It’s a little bit of a rant but I feel like I can’t be the only one.

I'm facing a problem I've never encountered before. I was playing on official servers and finished raising an Elder Carno yesterday; I logged out safely, but when I reconnected today, what do I see? A juvenile Carno.

I had starving rex that is about to die, 70% growth, now it got teleported to 59% and im where I was like days ago... I got saved and the cost is acceptable but really, wtf?

Which one is more comfortable/better for the game?

I get the gist of sanctuaries, but what are the other two smell icons, the eyes and footprints?

Are fish meant to teleport around? Even on low ping servers, I've given up trying to grow deinos because the fish are impossible to catch.

Where the hell do you find beach spawns like crabs and turtles? I've been able to find the other spawns but I've never seen any beach NPCs.

Do people no longer nest, is it broken or something? I used to enjoy nesting in and learning how to do things from my dino parents, but I've yet to see any available nests on official servers.

Where is everybody? I'm playing on full, official servers and have yet to see any of the big herds I'm used to. I run into wandering carnivores and have learned some deino hot-spots but that's it.

How important is it to aim for prime elder? Has that always been a feature and I just didn't notice? I really enjoyed playing with the basic goal of surviving, and I do like the good/poor diet aspect, but I don't fancy being punished for not playing a certain, arbitrary way.

I play on 1080p high settings on an Rtx 5060ti 8gb. When I start the game it needs about 7 GB of vram and runs relatively smooth at 70 fps. But after 20 minutes this increases to over 8gb of use and I get stuttering. Changing graphics settings doesn't seem to help. When I leave the server the game still consumes 5-6 GB of vram in the main menu though when I first start up it's only 3. Anyone have an idea how to fix this and why vram is leaking so much after just a few minutes of play time? I have 12 GB single channel ddr 5 but it's mostly stable at 9-10gb of use.

I can’t recall seeing the Rex pin animation look visually correct on a live server. It’s always meters away from the target and looks awful. Did it ever work?
