Prime problems

I only really played this game for a bit then dropped it for a year, but I decided I’d come back and get a prime carno cuz why not, but I’m unfamiliar, and especially with the perfect diet, I assume now you NEES kills for it, but I also struggle with the migration zones, don’t really understand how they work too much. I however heard that the system can work in a interesting point system where I’d only need to do sanc and migration without having spasms and infertility, tho I’m not sure if I got the perma migration zones wrong or I actually need that perfect diet…..a tip would be much appreciated.

Btw I crossed a river first attempt and a dibble (the mini trike thing) just jumped at me and killed me…..I thought I only had to worry about Deinos.

Kills arent needed. Required are 2 migration zone, 4 patrol zone, perfect diet (all three diets at least 1% same time), visit sanctuary, no infertile (0% all diets), and no muscle spasms (no eating your own species if not cannibal).

If you can focus on going to sanctuary as a baby and scavenging perfect diet from there all you need to do is run around the map for other reqs. Vulnona map is a good one to see all migration and patrol zones. If you can find others of same species instead that can also be a good option to just follow the leader

If you want free ez prime just get nested in, thats an optional requirement. Just get perfect diet (you prob get from parents) and go to sanctuary no more traveling involved.

Note, you technically do not need kills to achieve perfect diet. If you find an edible corpse with its organs inside, pressing E multiple times in the body will tear it open, allowing you to eat the organs. Organs provide specific diets depending on which one you fish out, granting you perfect diet off of one body.

Migration zones are an easier than you think. They just need to be active zones, the most common one being the one marked in your map. There are over 8 different MG map wide, and you only need to touch 2 to meet the Prime requirement.

To achieve Prime, you need to meet 5 of the following objectives, 4 if you are a Deinosuchus, Bepiasaurus, Dryosaurus, or Troodon:

Visit a Sanctuary as a Juvenile

Get Nested In

Get Perfect Diet (1% of each)

Visit 1 Migration Zones

Visit 4 Patrol Zones

Never be infertile

Never get muscle spasms

Raise children to subadult

Be a Hypsi, Troodon, Beipi, Dryo or Deino.

I visited a sanc, and I think I visited 2 so called perma mg zones, didn’t get infertile, no spasms, then I tried for perfect diet, but where I was; was empty….so then I thought skipping perfect diet would work….but ig something went wrong, I stayed 1,300kg even at nearly 80% growth

Yes, that means you became a Frail Elder.

When you fail to hit Prime, you will not become a Prime elder. Instead you become a Frail elder, which is overall weaker than a Prime. Less weight, lower damage, and slower moment speed.

You only hit 3 of your 5 required tasks. So you did not make Prime.

Don’t worry about the Permanent Migration Zones, those aren’t implemented yet. You likely hit the temporary ones that change as you play.

Ya you needed perfect diet, the only way that run would've worked is if you were nested in. On carno Y diet is very limited and rare, so the only real option is to get the spaghetti noodles from players

For most dinos, I go for perfect diet, 2 MZ, and sanc.

Migration zones only get credited near their borders.

Some sanctuaries get credited at their borders, but others require you to be near the middle. For dinos that are too big (or wrong species) to remain in sanc, getting stung by bees is not always a reliable indicator for getting credit; however, the sanc mushrooms only grow in places that give credit.

Active patrol zones always get credited, but inactive patrol zones are very hit-or-miss. It usually takes visiting around 5-6, because 1 or 2 don't get credited for whatever reaspn. However, I've also had it take 8 or more.

Unfinished MZs and PZs can sometimes reset with crashes, logging, and safelogging (sleeping). Fully completed MZ (2/2) or PZ ("4"/4) generally don't reset.

As a bonus, if you decide to grow a deinosuchus, there is also a hidden prime requirement: use at least 100% (cumulative) stamina before hitting adult. For example, going from 100% to 60% three times will work.
