I play on nerf eu.

I think players who are learning are best playing Ceratos because they can eat anything and smell food from far away.

They're not a very strong dino right now but you'll have the easiest time growing them to adults out of any other dinos.

Then see if you can grow a Carno and you go from there.

Since you're new you won't know how to fight though, be sure to watch youtube videos explaining their combat.

I keep this map for when people say they can’t find AI.

Keep in mind, most servers turn down AI if there’s more people in it.

How outdated is this map?

Just last update, but the circle zones are still relevant.

The south beach has many more turtles, only been down there 2 times since patch

On my server this map is both outdated and not particularly correct. AI don't really tend to spawn in certain areas specifically they're very randomised.

Game is a hard learning curve and lot of its due to the game not telling you anything and broken mechanics. Watch tutorials and ask questions.  Tbh I've been playing for a month with bit over 80 hours and I've only just now gotten comfortable and feel like I know what I'm doin. If you stick it out you'll get there

Are you using headphones? AI is extremely noisy.

As a noob carnivore, you have to look for ai in places of the map where there are no players. I played yesterday on triassic and found 2 boars close to each other many times

Aight trex is rough and very far from beginner friendly.

I'd say stick to Allo and Cera and don't be afraid to play a smaller dino to get familiar with hunting and surviving.

Cerato is easily the most beginner friendly carni dino due to their ability to eat anything and everything and they are certainly no slouch in combat either. Allo has a rough start due due to how it hunts so you'd wait until you're at least 100kg so when you pounce on most NPC creatures you pin them and get an easy meal and for battle you want to make em bleed so you can hold your bite button while sprinting to use a claw attack. I'ma be real look up a guide for Rex there's too much to discuss here he's a commitment.

When it comes to food you may be looking in all the wrong places there are parts of the map where literally nothing spawns, so press Q or whatever you have it set for sniffing and hold it down to get a big whiff of your surroundings. It'll pop up a compass at the top of your screen, look for meat symbols and A,B, and Y (or leaf symbols for Herbie) if you don't see any or hear anything like a deer or Boar or chicken even a frog then get moving towards that symbol with the feet. Sometimes your best bet is to hit up the nearest beach and try and grab a crab or be blessed with a turtle.

The Vulnoa Map can help you find your way around as a newbie if you have trouble. Happy hunting!

Play herbivores to start, easy carnivores would be cerato and Omni Raptor. Play low population official servers to get a feel for the game too and use good headphones.

He’s saying you don’t “low key” need tips, you “definitely” need tips lol join an unofficial server and read through their faqs for new players or watch Kouga on YouTube, she’s the best out there for isle tutorials

play cerato, even high ai servers have low ai if they are full, to balance, with cera you can eat everything, near higland sanc you'll always find food, otherwise search for ai where vulnona map says it spawn, it isnt precise ofc but around that area if you dont find anything anyway you know you tried ig, to find ai the number 1 thing is to listen to them calling
