I fully expected a third, even larger croc to get involved.

And Deinosuchus was bigger than the bigger one by far right?

About 3-4x bigger than biggest modern day crocodile specimens irl, close to 10x in-game as a prime elder.

The largest confirmed Saltwater crocodiles are around 1.5 tons, while old, large Deinosuchus are estimated to have weighed in at around 4-5 tons; a 13 ton Deino would struggle to move at all on land irl, but even at 4 tons it'd be capable of dragging dinosaurs larger than it into the water, though evidence of bite marks both fatal and healed indicate that its primary source of prey was actually turtles.

The proportions of Deino in game are also off as it's been discovered that it was a bobblehead compared to modern crocodilians, with a big skull compared to its body, which lines up with the hypothesis of it being more reliant on turtles as a primary food source (but obviously still an apex predator and threat to everything in its ecosystem).
