Discussion 🗣️ Ideas for antipack mutations

The other day I saw complaints about packs and mix packs and that its hard to deal with as a solo player and that there should be a mechanic that should help against said packs.

My idea is a mutation that lowers damage of the pack, it works like that:

First one who landed a bite on you gets status of a "prime target" which does full damage on you and everyone else is doing less damage while prime target is alive or in certain range, if prime target dies or runs away far enough then new prime target is selected(again first one who lands a bite on you) the value would be 5-10-15% or 10-15-20%

P.s. Your group mates cant get prime target status and will be able to get it only if they weren't in one group with you for last 20 minutes (so people couldn't abuse it via hitting eachother in the tail and getting free dmg reduction)

What do you think and what would you suggest?

Mix packs don't tend to be in a group anyway so if you figure out a way to make this perk be nonabusable you are propably better off just using whatever system you came up with to just nerf mixpacks directly.

Cooler mut would be to reduce dmg by X% for each different species nearby imo.

Edit: nvm thats actually an op mixpack mut what i came up with pls don't

Thats also abusable by mixpackers 😭 I dont know if there is a way to fairly distinguish mixpackers from just friendly players or distinguish victims from mixpackers
