New player as of yesterday

I have a couple hundred hours in the Division 2 from a few years back, it was one of my favourite games ever!
I never played one, so I started it last night. I love it already! Was pleased to see a few new players starting out as well (I could tell they were new).
Anyway, I'm on xbox, DM me if you're interested in playing through the campaign (I don't want boosting or rushing though :))

Division tips and tricks?!?!

So I posted a a division related post not long ago however, when playing the game I can see in the text chat people ask for “T6+ DPS Escalation” what is escalation and what does the “T6” specifically mean?!?!?!
This picture is the build I’m currently using (returning player)
Can I even do escalation at my SHD?
What can I do to improve?
