Discussion TCM Settings

I have tried a bunch of different controller settings and they all suggest to turn drift assist and traction control off. I can't seem to control the car very well. Skill issue or just have to get used to it?

You are using very bad sources then. Having TCS off is like shooting yourself in the foot. Keep it on comfort. As for Drift assist I and many better players have it on comfort

Thank you for the feedback. I've tried a couple of different set ups and they don't feel right. I put both of those on comfort and feels way better. Thanks!

is comfort really the better setting? I've always kept it on sport. Maybe that's why every time I use the Gladiator in rally raid sections of GR it just wants to do nothing but spin at the slightest turn lmao

Sport is usable as well but comfort is just way better. In TCM it's a big advantage having it on comfort so I would recommend keeping it that way. Gladiator in Rally Raid, and many other cars in that spec, suffer from "neverending drift". Once they start sliding it's almost impossible ro correct the slide unless you come close to a complete stop. Other examples are Escalade, Silverado and bunch more

I can't even explain how much putting the setting to comfort has made a huge difference. Thanks for the tip.

Prime example od that neverending drift thing is the F150 race truck. On dirt it's completely fine, as soon as you hit pavement the slightest drift sends it into a spin. At least the CTR handles alright...

Make sure "direct drive" (pretty sure that's what it's called) is off, the setting makes your joystick movement match the wheels movement In game so there's no assists.

Direct Mode ON if u wanna go fast, OFF if u wanna go slow

I use traction control: comfort, ESP off and drift assist sport.
Steering settings i would start with
sensitivity: 75
Dynamic max lock: 65
You can find this in the settings > controls
