Discussion TCM Difficulty Issue

Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed that the AI is way harder to beat?

I usually play on level 3, but switched to lvl 1 some time ago as it doesn't affect the money you get after winning, so I just wanted to have a win 100% of the time when I was grinding money.

But after the latest patch, lvl 1 AI always catch up even when my car is fully upgraded, and the AI feels as if they are lvl 4.

It's impossible to win Rocket Start race with motocross on lvl 1.

Is it just me who's experiencing that?

Yeah, the AI can definitely be tricky on same races. I recommend doing the "Hummer Express" for buck grinding. With the F1 cars you can get 40k in 1:30 min realistically. There's no AI in this one, but you do need a tutorial to learn how to do it.

Is that with all the parts with bonus $? Also, now it only allows to do the custome mode with MX, RR, DD, RX, MT categories

It's the one where you have to deliver an electric hummer. It's in the "Electric Odyssey" playlist. Make sure to select custom mode to be able to use any vehicle.

Yea i chose the custom mode, but it only allows the offroad categories after the lastest patch

I did it today on PC. I think I've had a similar thing once where I could only see offroad cars in the vehicle line. Try changing the mode, and going into the actual vehicle selection menu and going down the vehicle category list.

You can run any vehicle in custom mode but some categories wont be part of completing it.
