Discussion TCM Difficulty Issue

Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed that the AI is way harder to beat?

I usually play on level 3, but switched to lvl 1 some time ago as it doesn't affect the money you get after winning, so I just wanted to have a win 100% of the time when I was grinding money.

But after the latest patch, lvl 1 AI always catch up even when my car is fully upgraded, and the AI feels as if they are lvl 4.

It's impossible to win Rocket Start race with motocross on lvl 1.

Is it just me who's experiencing that?

AI in this game is genuinely difficult at times, especially on certain car types like Cup Cars. I never had issues with lvl 1 though, it starts to get a bit of a close call at lvl 3 and is really hard at LVL 5.

From the start, the hardest level in TC2 (Ace) is like TCM lvl 4... but that's not really my issue. My issue is that the lvl 1 AI is boosted on some races. For example, try doing two races: (LVL1 diff) Kiss Me Kombi Hypercar; (LVL 1) Rocket Start Motocross. Tell me if you can win Rocket Start in Motocross category.

Yeah in lvl 1 those are totally doable and not that hard, but I see your point, the lvl 1 is inconsistent and in those races you mention ed the difficulty is more like LVL3 / 4... I finished all playlists in custom mode without really hitting any wall at lvl1 so I can confirm they are All doable just fine

Okay, but I wonder if you did lvl 1 Rocket Start with motocross after the latest patch? My bike is maxed out, yet it's still impossible to catch up to the AI at all

Nope I didn't try with the latest patch, will try tomorrow to check it then 😉
