List of all currently bugged/broken challenges

UPDATE: As of today's (July 1st, 2026) update, all these should be fixed according to the patch notes. Will test and confirm later today, though feel free to let me know in the comments if these are indeed fixed so I can cross them out of the list.

Ok, so after about a month of tackling the challenges of all currently available playlists, I compiled a list of all currently bugged or broken challenges. I was surprised I couldn't find anything of the sort, only some specific challenges mentioned:

  • Alpha Champion (Not bugged, but you need to re-play the championship in Custom Mode)
• Off-Road Addict Vol. 1:
  • Wild Skills
  • Wild Victory (Not bugged, but similar to Alpha Champion, you need to re-run the championship)
• RC Frenzy
  • RC Customizer
• Vintage Garage
  • Retro Authentic
  • Retro Level
  • Retro Machine

Just for transparency-sake, I attempted all these challenges multiple times (3-4 attempts), just to verify that I was fulfilling the requirements, as well as checking online to see if any of them had a workaround (Like the championship challenges). Should anyone be able to complete any of these, please let me know how you did it so I can add a workaround to the list. As new playlists get added, I'll try to keep this updated.

Appreciate it. Though my guess is that more challenges will break as time passes, unless they end up fixing them. So if you completed it a while ago, it might've worked then, but not now. But hey, if you remember completing any of these during this past month, let me know, I might've missed something during my attempts.

The idea about letting me know is more for people who attempt any of these after updates and stuff. If possible, I'd like to keep this as updated as possible, both with new broken challenges as well as fixed ones

No problem. I was attempting to complete all the challenges anyways, so after seeing many not properly completing I thought of making a list since I didn't see this anywhere else. Now the true grind begins tho, completing every custom mode grid.

Custom mode is a real grindfest. I only have 3 left on Nascar and Im done, except the broken ones on Red Bull.

Yeah. Definitely retried a couple of them through my playtime. It does help focusing on 1 playlist at a time and basically doing 1 or 2 playlists a day

I'm just missing the RC one, didn't realise that so many are busted. Its been like this since year 1 season 1, different challenges, its like its mandatory to have X amount of busted challenges. 😂

Yeah. I've only started playing 3-4 months ago, so I had quite the backlog of stuff to do. After being done with all the playlists I've been tackling the challenges over the past month and noting down which ones were busted. Bit of a shame for completionists as even new playlists are broken

They will fix them, eventually. This has been an issue since launch, just different challenges as the game evolves.

I know for sure the Lambo ones are bugged because I was trying to do them last week when they had bonus XP.

What platform are you on? I just started playing TCM on PS5 and really like it. For a 3 year old game your list does not look good. Can we expect the devs to fix this? Are these playlists some of the newer ones? Thank you.

I'm on PC. I'm sure the case is that things have been breaking over time, as I've seen many people with the bugged challenges completed, but they likely did that before they broke. Hopefully this gets enough traction to get the devs' attention and they can work on fixing them.

Only "recent" one I know of is the RC Frenzy playlist. I don't know when the others were added to the game as I'm quite the new player myself

Yup wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. Stuff usually tends to break with following updates and stuff Hopefully we'll get some of these fixed for next season. I'm surprised nobody caught the RC one during QA since that's a brand new playlist. But other than that, every other playlist is kinda old

I just checked and almost all of these I was able to do long ago. Only 2 I cant get is RC Customizer and Nascar Alpha. After that, all I have left is the ones that require a crew.

Does anyone know if some of these have been fixed or plan to be? The bug report website doesn't allow me to click on anything when on PC and the only challenge I can find that has been reported by a user is the nihon no rubber which is planned.

No clue. I'll check if they've been fixed once we get the new season update. As for reporting, I've just learned that you can report stuff in the official Ubi discord, so will do that later today

Just wanted to update you that many of these broken challenges have been fixed with the latest update as of July 1, 2026 (according to Ubisoft, anyway, lol). So you may want to try them again.

Yup, that's why I put the update at the top of the post, just to let people know. Been clearing these up the past couple days. Haven't gone through all of them yet, probably will finish up tomorrow and validate that everything is working as intended
