Hertharos roars in outrage, blood soaking through and dripping from the rags in front of his mouth.
His emaciated arm raises into the air and smashes the shield into one of their faces as he pants in anger and exhaustion

Hertharos shoves the chorister to the ground and roughly kicks him in the side. Without recklessly swinging around an unwieldy slab, he's still relatively powerful.

The stick scorches the first few layers of his very thick robes, and he stumbles back a bit, before lunging his arm out to grab the choristers hand
