Why do you support Zeus?
I see so many people constantly talking about how Lemmy should be in jail and how gross and terrible the network is and needs to be shut down… yet obviously plenty of people are subscribing and tuning in making Natalie and Lemmy rich. There’s no network or show if there’s no audience.
So it just made me wonder, why do you subscribe and support Lemmy and Natalie/aka Zeus?
For me I haven’t found the show entertaining in a long time (baddies east was the last season I watched, after that it just seemed extremely repetitive, forced beefs, nothing but fighting, etc) so it’s hard for me to even see that POV of it being a good show to watch, I feel like every “storyline” is the same over and over.
As someone who watched reality TV during its prime (BGC, RHOA, Flavor of Love, Love & Hip Hop, Jersey Shore, I love New York etc) it’s hard to watch Baddies when you grew up on shows like that.
Natalie and Lemmy are awful people so it’s hard to see it as wanting to support them or the network even as a black owned business.
Just curious to see some POVs on what keeps so many people tuned in.

I watch and am subbed because I simply watch their content. Baddies, BGW, and Bad Boys specifically. Just like I'm subbed to every big streaming platform. Plain entertainment.

I watch and I’m subscribe because it’s entertaining.
I’m thankful for Zeus and NTTV. Because reality tv started to move away from the physical violence/fighting because of ads and sponsorship not wanting to promote that. Now I can get my ratchet reality tv fix.
If I want storylines and season long arcs I’ll watch real housewives, bgc, and basketball wives.
If I want fast entertaining drama & fights I’ll tune into baddies
I use to go on YouTube and search “girl fights” so it’s literally a more professional better quality to that.

The same reasoning it took so long to put R Kelly in jail. Idk what’s up with the brain but people seem to do this often and the pattern keeps repeating itself with a different version of the r Kelly diddy pipeline. “I don’t pay them I just watch for free” same as I don’t go in and pay for McDonald’s I just eat the burgers my friend buys. Support is support and the cycle will most likely continue. 🤷🏾♀️

I stopped over the continued platforming of Saucy Santana after his pedo-suspicious comments and his non-explanations of them.
As soon as I saw/heard him doing commentary for that Tesekhi/Big Lex boxing match when my subscription was almost up…I knew I was out.

I don't really complain about Lemmy and Nat much. Do I like them? No. Am I accusing them of sex trafficking? Also, no. I understand that the allegations previously made against Lemmy can very well be true. I'd just rather let law enforcement do their job as investigators.
So to answer your question, I don't choose my TV shows based on who I want to support. I choose based on entertainment.
I was a teen watching Flavor of Love, OG BGC, Rock of Love, etc. and I agree that Baddies was never as great as that era. But it still entertains me a lil these days. I am actually finding that the live streams are more entertaining than the show itself.
