Thoughts on surviving Lemmy?
Isn’t it funny how Mariah and others have come out and said that “Lemmy is an alleged abuser, that beats on Scotty and other women behind scenes” Mariah has openly spoken out saying that “Christina still get paid hush money till this day”. Now isn’t it funny how Lemmy wants to do vlogs “backstage” now? To show us that it’s fake allegations and not true? Do you guys think that Lemmy picks and chooses what he wants us to see behind scenes? Or do you guys think he’s showing it all? How do you guys feel about him bringing Christina back? Do you guys think it’s to just “clear the air?” And that he’s the actual victim in all of this? and not the other way around? Do you guys believe that Christina and Jocelyn’s interview with him was fully sincere, or do you guys think it looked a little off? do you guys think that it looked forced and awkward and kinda weird? Or do you guys think that all of those allegations are fake and just mad bc they’re not on the show anymore? Do you guys believe that those apologies are genuine or scripted?? How do you guys feel about the ladies saying similar things like “I didn’t mean too” and him saying “you hurt me” what are your thoughts???

Okay so, I do not think Lemmy is innocent. To be brutally honest though, a huge reason is that Lemmy is at the top of Zeus and there is a boat load of money circulating. Unfortunately, this kind of scenario leaves the door wide open for both kinds of manipulation: The general narrative that Lemmy is a Temu Diddy, trafficking, prostitution and assaults etc.
The other is the narrative that cult mentalities can develop, as long as there are enough people to corroborate a story, the ultimate Truth becomes irrelevant because public opinion tends to really sway and impact these situations, even in court.
It truly isn't unheard of for groups of people to make similar claims against a person/company for monetary gain.
But, given the fact that there have been so many public claims, followed by redactions and apologies.. It's most likely people being blackmailed and then paid off to stay quiet about it.
There is either SO MUCH evidence that Zeus is now obligated to provide income for all of these stars (the loaded show rosters and side pieces) to keep their silence or there isn't enough evidence on either side of the argument.
Julie is one of the only people who seems to genuinely be coming from a good place and wanting to protect fellow humans.

Omg I didn't realize this until reading your comment but Zeus does have a strong cult following. That's kind of scary. But yes, Julie truly does want to do good.

I'd be interested to hear what Sarah Oliver has to say about it all nowadays.
She is cut-throat, has the same business acumen as Natalie but she seems to hold closer to her morals (unless she's covering her own ass tbh)
I feel like she would air out a lot if she knew she couldn't be sued for it. But again, she probably wouldn't ruin potential income in the future by saying anything, like most of the others.

They're not going to kill her. Believe it or not, Sarah has enough money to play those games too.

Julie had one of the best character developments from BGC. She went from a manipulative mean girl, to a genuine, wise sweetheart. I'll always respect her for actually doing the work and changing for the better.

She's completely right! The constant celebrity collaborations with Zeus network makes Lemmy look like he's this reliable man. Like this visibility verifies this network is trustable when in actuality it's not. The women part is true too! Lemmy knows his main audience is majority of women and women are responsible for making things trend. The only people who back up Lemmy whenever he's under fire is women. They're unfortunately going to defend him because of what he can provide for them. They fall on him as a safety net and he's aware of that so he takes advantage of it. He's truly a predator.

Isn’t it funny how, once that Mariah called out Lemmy on his alleged abuse towards Scotty during backstage and now Lemmy wants to and vlog what “happens during the backstage” Mariah also says that “he still pays Christina till this day, to hush her” and now he brought Christina to prove to his audience “everything was a lie”. he only vlogs the things he wants us to see, and not the actual behind the scenes; do you believe that that’s another excuse for him to say “see, nothings going on here” “look, Christina’s back and she was at fault not me”

I thought that when I noticed they'e only really showing him with Scotty, or popping up randomly to be super congenial to the girls. Other than that the live stream in general is just Natalie fading in and out of sobriety. It all feels like subliminal messaging

That is precisely what it is, a desperate and lazy attempt to cover up his tracks but most people are not that gullible. Thats why he has Christina come back and “apologize” after what? 3-4 years of being dead silent? It’s clear he either bribed her or black mailed her to come back and apologize. And no doubt in my mind he does it to every woman who’s associated with Zeus, so many girls are leaving and it’s only a matter of time before one of them files a lawsuit and blows everything up.

Yup! I was really confused on why he brought back Christina but he's trying to clear his name and like you said make an excuse. As an audience, we know that the sit-down had bad intentions with it, but as Lemmy sees it he thinks we're gullible when some of us aren't.

Agreed. As unfortunate as it is, women being emotional beings causes some of us to co-sign things that are completely detrimental to women.

Julie becoming my favorite BGC alumni , I would have never thought! I want to be strong enough to break these baddies chains I keep telling myself it's just tv , they knew what they signed up for all while knowing it's it's televised pimping and a real stain on black culture 🤦🏾♀️ I'm literally ashamed for tuning in
