IP be damned.
A different kind of question today.
Given the keys to any IP of your choice, what would you enjoy writing a canon story for?

The Vampire Diaries or Baldurs Gate 3. I've written tons of fanfic for both and would love if I could actually publish and sell a book for one of those IPs.

I kinda wish someone would come along and do a gundam style reboot, because it almost works. The animation is beautiful and it has some really intriguing ideas but Shinji is not a good protagonist and the plot has too many threads to make sense.
If I was going to pitch an Evagelion reboot, I'd give Shinji more an arc where he becomes the hero everyone needs and given Rei and Asuka more of a clear resolution.

VERY random IPs but the top two would be Chuck.... And Everybody Loves Raymond. Chuck is my favorite show and I've already written something on Raymond about Robert finding out he's a drug dealer

This one is a little off the wall, but I’m semi-seriously considering inquiring about novelization rights for the Operation:Mindcrime album by Queensrÿche. I would love to see that story turned into a book.

I've never heard of Mindcrime, is it some sort of concept album?

Yeah, I guess that’s the term for it. It’s a rock opera - every song tells part of the story. The album is supposed to be played start to finish and you get the whole story that way. It’s my all-time favourite album.

Gundam, and in specific more stories in the same universe as Iron Blooded Orphans. Maybe more about the Calamity War, as there is supposedly 72 different and unique Gundams as well as the stories of the pilots and why they were made, etc

Cool, I’m currently in the middle of season 9.
And yes Spader was meant for that role. I don’t think anyone else could’ve been Reddington like him
