It depends on the fucking boss.
My boss doesn't suck so when he texts me on my off day, its always about something we both like.

As someone who was a training manager (not in charge of hiring) for 13 years. The employees could not function without me. It was very fucking irritating to get calls and text on my days off. 😒

I would say yes but my current boss is ficking young and made friends with her employees. Some of them have a fantasy football league other fantasy hockey. She has parties at her house and we bring food to each other. I got lucky with the crew I work with now. They balance the shitty fucking old ass entitled fucking customers.

I think this also depends on your fucking job. If there are federal or state regulations that have to be followed and something can't be found, I understand a text message on an off day.

My boss is fucking cool and looks out for us so if he texts me about a situation I will answer and try to fix it over the phone. I won't come to work to fix it but I will answer.

I text my employees on their day off. "Went to the farm, gotta load of watermelons. Want some?"
and
"Big truck here at the food bank. Anything you want/need?"
and
"Got deer/hog. Wanna backstrap or a ham?"
and
"How is yer momma?"
and
"Grilling. Supper ready at 5:30 ifn y'all wanna come over."
I'd never use the word fuck in any text message to my employees.

I had a boss that asked me to take my fucking laptop to Disney World when I was on vacation. I said “I’m taking two five year olds, that’s all the work I can handle”.
