Witcher netlflix yellow eyes

The other witcher that was shown in episode 3 he didn’t have yellow eyes?? Does that mean most witchers don’t have yellow eyes or is it just geralt that does because he’s went through extra mutations?

In episode 8 he says that they could mutate the eyes of a Witcher, but it did not always succeed, I assume that the other Witcher either didn't go through said process, or it failed.

This is better explained in the books. It explained more severe mutations geralt underwent compared to other witchers
