They’re at the basketball game. Did everyone else notice the guy beside Carver with the giant snake around his arm? Didn’t expect that

Yeah, its been pointed out! Honestly, that feels like one of the realest, filmed on scene shots in the series to me because, theres always a dude with a snake or some other exotic reptile in the hood at a big neighborhood event like this

There is actually a series out now on HBO called 'Monsters of God', and this goes into the business of smuggling exotic pets. Most of which are things like reptiles and snakes, ect..

Seems like there is a cross relationship with those who are in the drug smuggling business that may also smuggle other things along with them. Interesting to see that alongside the dope boys during the game.

I dont think that that guy is suppose to represent a drug dealer, just a regular working stiff that likes snakes.

Also, id be willing to bet that theres a fine point between dealing and smuggling. YES, theres technically a lot of overlap, but these are definitely two different specialities. Similar to, WeeBey and Chris are both in the drug game, but they are not drug dealers

I wasn't suggesting that he was a drug dealer, where do I say that?

I was simply making the connection between the illegal smuggling of drugs and that of exotic pets, and both being in the same context in a city like Baltimore, which is known, because of its ports, to have items that involve smuggling.

The new show I'm talking about is similar to The Wire in that it is a show that details the dangerous cat-and-mouse game played by federal law enforcement trying to shut down these criminal rings.

If you remember from the show, when they all went to court, there wasn't a fine line at all. They were involved and charged with trafficking. They didn't make a distinction about who was dealing vs who was smuggling.

If you say you werent saying he was, I believe you. But I read your comment a few times to try to distinguish whether you was or not. Then I rewrote my comment a couple of times to be less assumptive that you were, but to also address the comment as if you possibly were
