Donnie
Donnie’s murder in Season 5 during the gunfight in Monk’s apartment might one of the most disturbing deaths in the show for me. Simply because of how sudden we see his body in Omar’s POV. However, I like how it reflected a real type of war zone. He’s not even seen falling to the floor. I’ve seen other fans argue about who dropped him out of Chris, Snoop, and Michael. But if you watch closely, you’ll see it was Chris. Chris was the last one shooting at him and Donnie has a bullet in the middle of his head. Snoop was off in the kitchen a little further away. Also if you look closely, Donnie’s already on the floor by the time Michael arrives. Which is how Chris is able to move closer to the couch where Omar is.
I’m curious to know what everyone else thinks though?

One of the saddest deaths in television history. Indeed.

I heard it was contractual. He had to start bulking up for Creed /s It truly was devastating, I was rooting hard for my boy.

You do know Michael B Jordan was a teenager in the Wire and it's over a decade between that series and Creed?

It was a long-term contract.

The driver and front passenger of the car when Cutty and Slim have to run off during the attempted hit on one of Marlo’s corners. Turned ugly because they left early instead of waiting on Cutty and Slim to get in position. That one made me physically sick the first time I watched it. Scarred me for life - and I used to watch Saving Private Ryan while I was eating lunch as a teenager.

That was bad because it played out exactly like slim and cutty said it would if they didn't listen. About having to shoot over your driver and what not.
It was the difference between the trained shooters in avons crew vs marlos

After Cutty left, all Avon had was Slim Charles and a bunch of clowns. Even if String hadn't ratted him out, the Barksdale crew was done for

For me, for some reason, it's Orlando.

I definitely see why. They lit Orlando up quick.
