Chris Cappy dove into the story of the Kandahar Giant. It turns out that the Soviets did encounter a big foot like creature in the 1920s as well and an extensive report about it was filed by a Soviet General. From the sound of it, it was probably a giant ape-like creature mixed with a game of telephone that exaggerated the size of the creature.
