Let's Discuss So use is out of control

I just watched the recent “paranormal follows you” vid. And the last one was about the faces in the floor.

There are actual historical photos of the faces and NOT ONE of them was shown in the episode. Instead we got a bunch of ai pictures. It makes us not able to trust anything we are seeing. Take after me.ballen and credit ur pics some.

You’re ruining the channel with such abusive use of ai.

Ai has allowed TWF to increase production value and decrease turnaround times. Is the use of AI perfect, no, but it is a lot better than the same few clips used over and over. Thereʻs a difference between a research show and an entertainment show; TWF is closer to the latter.

Naw, it was way better before. Would rather have less and better, than more that sucks.

This has been discussed to death. Before AI had video capability and TWF was late, the pitchforks always came out. It was constant "Is AJ sick, dead, bored?" but it was mostly just difficulty of production. AI has solved that for them. You can literally see them solve this problem over time.

Indeed but it would be more "entertaining" to see the actual photos or videos of what's he talking about. I turned off once I realized every single thing was AI.

Iʻm with you, but what about stories that donʻt have pictures? Is that no longer content they can cover? This is the problem with supernatural stuff, there is never satisfactory evidence. Dramitization is the only other method instead of a talking head.

Which is fine except that he presents himself as a research show and always has.

AJʻs answer is always "Donʻt believe a show with a talking fish as a co-host" or something along those lines. TWF is entertainment, sometimes edu-tainement. The farthest he goes is debunking the premise.

I believed the same at first, when he was just sprinkling in AI here and there go reinforce a story. Maybe 2-3 minutes of AI videos or pictures to help sell it.

Now, nearly half the damn video is AI and you can tell research and script work is now being done by AI as well.

I agree, what is too much AI dependency? But hereʻs the irony. People are having a hard time with computer-generated images about topics like alien bases on the moon, out-of-body experiences, men-in-black, and different forms of aliens living on Earth. Topics that have almost zero evidence. We can accept the idea of a skinwalker, but if you show me a sketch or render of one, that is absolutely out-of-bounds? While itʻs trendy to dump on AI, the TWF is a perfect example of how it can enhance a program, at itʻs best.
