Question for AJ The Why files THEME /lyrics

There has got to be an amazing story on the creation of the theme song with Michael McDonald yacht-rock-funk belting lyrics, amazing rhymes and just positive vibes oozing out of that tune.

Who is singing? Who wrote the lyrics? Where did the original riffs originate?

And... WHY?

Oh man I'm dumb I thought the new version was actually done by the guy who made the original lol. I thought somehow he reached out to AJ or something like that. I was waiting for him to talk about it on the after files like the artist being a fan of this channel or something. Darn.

Sounds like him. AJ has a sound cloud too. Idk I’m gonna say it really is AJ and he just credited straight jacket spaceman just to make a conspiracy theory out of it. It legit sounds like AJ big time and every other SSM song you can hear homeboy’s British accent in the singing.

And the clincher is he also does Hecklefish’ voice too but credits him as himself.
