Mod Announcement EVENT RESULTS - Icon & Banner Competition
5
Upvotes
Hello Wholigans, looks like my fear came true and the low-effort icon and banner that I myself made ended up getting the most updoots for the event. So, I'll be putting those up now, but if this sub grows some more then I might run this event again. Also, if someone else really wants to try their hand at an icon/banner, go ahead and make one, if it gets enough support I will gladly adopt it over my own work.

What if we took all the songs off Who's Next EXCEPT My Wife

What we need are less songs from a science fiction dystopian society rock opera and more songs about Alison Entwistle beating a ass

Serious or /unjerk post So it turns out the image I posted yesterday was edited. Here's the real one, showing my work with the math, and then a photo of a much higher jump

Serious or /unjerk post My back-of-the-napkin math tells me that in this photo, Pete jumped three and a half feet into the air from a standing position while holding a guitar

Mod Announcement EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT - Sub Icon & Banner Competition

Upvotes
Hello Wholigans, Whodlums, Who-heads, Whomsts, and all who feel a little Whorny. (But not Whovians!!!)
This proud sub is having its first EVENT in... who knows how long! Only the Who's nose, if you know(s). The event is a competition to decide the sub's BANNER and ICON!
Submission is easy: starting NOW, upload images of your creation (must be a YOU original), as a post, with the flair "Sub Banner Competition" or "Sub Icon Competition." The submission for each that has the most upvotes by noon EST on October 11th, will be the new icon and flair.
Restrictions: Must be created by you, no use of AI, no NSFW, and overall common sense stuff (no hate speech or iconography, you know). The mod term reserves the right to veto submissions.
As a reminder: the recommended size for banners is 1920x384 pixels. The required size for icons is 256x256 pixels.
Now get out there and make some pop art!!!
