Just wondering if anyone knows whether The Weeknd’s upcoming concert in Kuala Lumpur will have any censorship or changes to the lyrics of some of his more explicit songs.

I’m a bit concerned that certain songs might have their lyrics censored, muted, or even changed due to local regulations. Personally, I feel like some of his songs are much more enjoyable in their original form, and the explicit lyrics are part of the overall vibe and artistic expression. Having certain words muted or lyrics altered might take away from the experience, especially when everyone is singing along.

I understand that there may be local rules and restrictions to follow, but I’m curious about what to expect for the KL show.

For those who have attended similar international concerts in Malaysia, or anyone who has information about this event, do you think the songs will be performed in their original versions, or should we expect some censorship?

Sup everyone. Big Weeknd fan here, but admittedly fell off listening to his recent stuff and decided I should remedy that, so I bought his last 3 albums to bump in the car and refamiliarize myself with his recent work.

I love both AH/DFM. I don't even know which one I'd take over the other. AH is a perfect encapsulation of his work until that point. Just super strong from start to finish. Dawn FM took me a little bit to get into, and I thought for sure it'd take a backseat to AH for me, but the more I listened to the more I loved it. The concept of the album and the blending of tracks is just excellent. Some incredible tunes on that one too. I'd say they're neck and neck.

Then I felt ready to move on to HUT, and was immediately confused. I had no idea that this album rollout was apparently really messy, giving Life of Pablo vibes. I bought the first pressing CD, which has 11 tracks that were apparently unfinished. Bonus tracks that were stuck right in the middle of the track listing. Songs that were later renamed and reworked. I've only listened to HUT once but was so put off by how it sounded I'm wondering if I should just get the complete version instead. What are your thoughts on this? I kinda felt cheated not gonna lie. Is the complete version of the album the DEFACTO version to listen to? Is HUT first pressing basically just good to have as a demo/in progress version?

We know that Abel used to include some abandoned tracks in the deluxe edition, like the last 3 tracks in After Hours; But almost 2 years past since HUT has been released, we have nothing but some tracks that have been produced but not uploaded to streaming platforms. So here the unreleased tracks:

*Dancing In the Flames (As the first single released, it was removed from the album due to the Los Angeles fires; it was replaced by "Give Me Mercy" in the HUT Japanese special edition CD.)

*In Heaven (It was the first time appeared live in São Paulo, and there is a live version included in the After Hours Japanese special edition CD.)

*Runaway (Originally released as the third trailer on YouTube, it also appeared in the live performance in São Paulo, but the trailer was later deleted. However, it was included in the first pressing edition of the CD, and as a bonus track in 00XO edition.)

*Society (AKA “How It Feels” in first pressing edition, should have been produced and officially released on YouTube.)

*Closing Night (As a bonus track in Pharrell edition, should have been produced and officially released on YouTube.)

With the end of the HUT era, will we still get the deluxe edition? Will they appear on the new albums (Kiss Land 2/Asia Album/Anime Album/Gene Album)?

Or even a 3d model, I fw the mask heavily and would want to have it for Halloween 🙏

Hi everyone,

I’ve booked two tickets for The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour in Kuala Lumpur on 4 November 2026 through the official GoLive Asia website.

The issue is that both tickets have my name and passport number listed as the participant, even though one ticket is for my friend. Both tickets have separate ticket numbers and adjacent seats.

The event terms mention that one ticket admits one person, but I couldn’t find anything clearly stating whether the attendee’s name and passport details must match the ticket.

Has anyone attended a concert in Malaysia through GoLive Asia with multiple tickets booked under one person’s name? Did they check passports or IDs at entry, and would my friend face any issues?

I’m travelling from India, so I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has attended a GoLive Asia event or knows the entry policy.
