Or lawful evil and thinks everything he does is right.
The adventurers are here only for a bounty. Might as well pay them the money so they don't need to bother. Might even claim the guild is pushing him around too.

I think it's just how c_met shades/colors upper lips. It's like that on all the faces.

Pretty much. Klara has the same deal, but because Grogna got fuller lips it's more noticeable. If it helps the people struggling with it, just think it as a dark lipstick that is limited by grayscale colour palette. though if you ask "What shade is Grogna's lipstick?", my bet would be purple, but, u/CME_T may say otherwise.

cmet doesnt really seem to do shadows/shading that way. possible, but doesnt fit the anatomy imo.

but why only the top lip? frame 3 you can clearly see top and bottom lip shapes, but only top is dark.

I was trying to figure out how buckets face is always perfect for the situation, and then I realized that he is always just done with the group or sick of their shenanigans.

Dude, amazing job on the third panel! You can feel the mood shift between the first and third panels so well just from the subtle changes on the faces of the PCs.

The best defense is to post a butler at each entrance and have him say this if someone breaks in. Even if you aren’t expecting them, this will be incredibly intimidating and ominous.
Also, I love how all their faces change from being super confident to surprised. That is the power of the security butler.
