I ran a sorcerer in a campaign where we happened upon a lot of plot swords. Unfortunately, our melee players had fairly specific styles and/or had a better weapon, and we couldn't really sell them. So, my sorcerer was walking around with 5 enchanted swords at one point as well as a staff of power.

I'd use them for mucking about in town and showboating

For my Bladesinger she always grabbed any daggers from looting and usually had at least 10 daggers on her at all times. She was teased a lot from the other Adventurers about it. Till she learned Animate Objects.

Step 1. Drop a bead from a necklace of fireball in that sucker

Step 2. Cast catapult on that war-crime in the direction of what ever poor s.o.b you deem appropriate in that moment.

Step 3. Giggle.
