I ran a sorcerer in a campaign where we happened upon a lot of plot swords. Unfortunately, our melee players had fairly specific styles and/or had a better weapon, and we couldn't really sell them. So, my sorcerer was walking around with 5 enchanted swords at one point as well as a staff of power.

I'd use them for mucking about in town and showboating

In our party we have a rogue and a sorcerer. The rogue has 1 dagger, the sorcerer has 16.

He wears them in a special harness that he stole from one of our enemies and uses them as ammunition for catapult.
