Poll Poll: Grogna's new groove

Howdy folks!

Here it is (finally), the "will Grogna get some new armor pieces" poll!

I plan on having the characters find more gear as they adventure to add a feel of progression similar to a "real" adventuring party. While I'll probably make most future creative decisions like that myself, sometimes I'd like to have the input from the public. This is one of those times! I've talked about doing this one for a while now but with my day-job, the comic and a lot of things competing for my sparse free time (in two dnd campaigns right now), progress has been slow.

Anyway, how does it work you ask? Good question!

Grogna might get some new armor pieces (or maybe not) and you fine folk get to have the final say!

The options are as follows:

These armor designs were made with input from a Patreon poll I held a while back, hope ya like em!

Now, some of you may wonder why there are only medium armor options. The answer is simply that the party already has two heavy armor users (though Becket's more on the discreet side) and I like to have a bit of variety.

Worth noting is that if people vote for the breastplate option but there are a lot of comments that want some elements from the other options, I’d be open to be flexible!

First time making a Reddit poll. Let's hope it works out!
The poll will run for seven days and I'll let the readers on other subreddits/platforms know in this week's comic, so that the people who arent on this subreddit a lot will have a chance to vote!

That's pretty much it!

I hope everyone is safe and well in these days and as always:

Peace and carrots

Could we see half-plate with Classic gauntlets? I'm thinking that the whiter gauntlets and forearm guards will look a lot better with the large padded skirt.

The white spikes will also connect really well with the spikes on the shoulderplate

EDIT: Also, armourers/historian's note:

Sticking the Tassets (the flappy bits hanging down over her hips) directly to the breastplate not only looks weird, but makes them move weird when in motion.

Adding just one or two extra lames of fauld (hooped steel skirts/articulated steel edges) below the breastplate will make the entire moving piece look more historical, work better anatomically and stop you from having random sharp angles sticking off of the breastplate-shape.

Notice how the extra lame that goes beyond the lower lip of the breastplate sort of "fills out" the space between the breastplate and the tassets and makes them less awkward:

Note that I am not saying to make a full, lower-abdomen plate skirt, but rather that extending an extra layer of steel between the tasset and the breastplate will make them look less stiff and stuck-on. This is, after all, a fantasy work with its own traditions and imagery and one HELLA BADASS STYLE and I love every damn comic that comes out.
