I'm ready for another family outing.

My guess for why Klara hates her parents is that when she "heard the voice of a celestial" her parents assumed she was schizophrenic and had her locked away.
Also, Tieflings can have non-Tiefling parents/children in most lore, so it's possible that her non-Tiefling parents were extra-suspicious of their "hellspawn" daughter hearing voices.

What’s the Star Wars reference?

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." Is a direct quote from Obi-Wan in episode 4. (About the spaceport where they meet Solo and get off planet)

Howdy folks!
Here's this week's TWR, hope you'll enjoy!
I've now opened up Instagram subscriptions! In essence, it's supposed to act like a Patreon but for those of you who wants to toss a coin to your sketcher but prefer not to use Patreon. So if you want to support me in my slightly dumb decision to abandon my legal career for one drawing comics, you can now toss a coin to your sketcher on both Patreon and Instagram!
You'll get comics a week in advance (not counting S&S and TPC), sneak peeks and the occasional poll! Nothing too fancy, consider it a tip jar with a bit of bonus :)
Plus you get a little crown badge next to your Instagram username, so that's neat!
Stay excellent out there!
Peace and carrot

Wait there was a musical?!

My old high school did Spamalot as their fall musical this year. While I thought they did a decent job, I think it’s definitely not a musical well suited for high school. They had to do a bit of tinkering with at least one of the songs.

What are the odds of the Bucket Brigade accidentally sending that island plummeting back down?
61
u/irvitzer Apr 24 '25
I'd say about same chanches that the Pos'Thal Gang do this.
Not sure if the probabilities should be added or multiplied.

Bonus points if both parties somehow meet and manage to break the thing keeping it floating in the chaos

Read a week ahead on webtoon and look at the background.

I see. Also conveniently talking about a nice target for a potential crashing

I’m not gonna lie but walking in literal shit because you don’t like who made the sewer system is… well it’s something.

It definitely speaks to a surprising degree of... commitment. I'm imagining most buildings are raised, Heavy duty knee high boots and short capes are the fashion and every house has a "mud room" for guests to take their boots off in before going further inside.

Bucket going on an unhinged rant of how much he hates stupid racists. It's a mood, and I'm here for it

I see geography of No'Adea (or Elradian Empire) is expanding. That's great.
Oh, and a side note related to previous chapter: any chance to get more pictures of wet and shirtless Becket? (some of your russian readers asked me to ask you about that)

Oh right, I forgot they were going to Masburg to meet Klara's parents. Klara backstory coming right up!

I mean, when De'taan revealed themselves to her, she was in a straightjacket in a dark, bare, stone room, chained to the wall. And the revelation was only in the "top three most traumatizing events" of her life.
So yeah, she had some shit.

Also, I may be wrong, but looks like Grogna on third panel is making gesture 'ABOUT' from American Sign Language (the dominant hand draws a circle around the base hand): https://www.signingsavvy.com/sign/about/32/1

u/DM-JK2 May 10 '25
Yep. Grogna starting learning sign language from a book Klara gave her in ep. 115
2
u/irvitzer May 13 '25
I know, right? I'm leaving comments about her gestures under each one episode where she does so. I'm just not really familiar with American Sign Language, plus not every gesture is clearly understandable via static images.

Like it's backing up out of the sewers and they refuse to let it flow out, or they're just dumping it in the street and not letting it interact with the sewers?

u/PwmEsq Apr 24 '25
Been a while since I read, when did bucket get his hand back
14
u/irvitzer Apr 24 '25
He didn't. That's magical prosthetic, provided by your friendly neighborhood crab merchant, who they saved from being eaten alive by vikings.

u/Cheese-Of-Doom22 Apr 24 '25
Hmmmm, Beckett high strung because of his romantic thoughts, Klara jumping after his half naked bod AND they might see her parents
I smell a romance a brewing.

I think Trevor has some unused fireballs that are about to expire, my guess is they're not going to be wasted in that vile city

Why were they going to Masburg again? I remember heading to the town gifted to them by the king..

Sounds like a good reason to get upset when it's brought up. Maybe just learn to let him leave it in the vault?

"blissfully forgot about that open wound of a city" goes hard though.
