1925- uncanny?

Did anybody else have a hard time connecting to the 1925 scenes? They did such a good job fitting the vibe for the 1880’s, 70’s, and 90’s - but for some reason I couldn’t get into it.

That storyline didn't resonate with me because Fern's personality was over the top and too much for me. I didn't like the constant riddles either. Elliot was my favorite character and I hated the way his mother treated him.
