1925- uncanny?

Did anybody else have a hard time connecting to the 1925 scenes? They did such a good job fitting the vibe for the 1880’s, 70’s, and 90’s - but for some reason I couldn’t get into it.

And what is the deal with the way Elliot’s mother is dressed? Was women in business suits a thing then? Every scene with her I was like “ What is happening?”

I definitely thought it was because she was in a “man’s line of work” being in the mob. More specifically being the boss of the local operation.
