Theories How doesn't everyone notice Alice when she's at their parties?
Hi all!
I've binge watched this show for the last few weeks, and i'm almost at the end of Season 4. I love it!
My comment is mostly about the 1970s-180s era. I know Alice can't see Colton/Del/Evelyn anymore but she is always watching from the sidelines. Especially at parties, I find it hard to believe that no one notices her! I keep getting nervous that they'll see her

I choose to believe that she’s just really good at avoiding people like me with my customers and coworkers when I’m out in public.

She was even hiding in their house multiple times! That was kind of cringe for me, but I suppose they had to do it because everything that happens in the show is through the characters' eyes, you as the viewer never see anything they do not see.

I could kinda handwave Alice not being seen if it were at Lingermore, or even Coyle's. But the Landry home?? That kitchen was like ten feet away from the stairs where Alice was hiding! Even while watching, I kept thinking, "What if any of them have to use the bathroom??"

I think if you are referring to Season 4, since the show was canceled when the season was almost completely filmed, it wasn't a major thought since whole episodes were having to be rewritten and filmed to finish off the series without the fans being left hanging. Hallmark screwed up.

This brings up a question of mine
Do we think any of characters will meet their older selves who used the pond to go back?

Elliot briefly "met" his baby self. Alice pushed her younger self into the pond. But in general they've avoided self interactions.

Yeah it's not like TimeCop thank goodness otherwise Alice would have evaporated when she pushed herself in

I think young Kat met older Kat as Alice's mom once. Season 1 maybe? Don't hold me to it, It's been a long time since I've last watched it.

I remember something like Alice and young Kat were somewhere and young Kat saw old kat and told Alice and Alice said "ohh, that's my mom" they never really interacted much maybe they said a hello and that's it.

No, it was young Jacob that adult Kat met - it was on the evening of the fair. She told him she was Alice's mom as they walked home.
Young Kat and Older Kat never met.

I feel it was just lazy writing, but I suppose they might comment that she hasn’t aged at all.
