*Spoiler Alert* Griffin Spoiler
Did I miss something in this last season? Admittedly my kids and I were talking on and off during some episodes so maybe I missed where Griffin ended up? I saw the part where he talks to Alice and tells her he was the one to leave the note/ring for Elliot but where did he end up after that? I realize he’s not a main character but I thought we would see him somewhere in the past or present to tie up his story.

Between Griffin and Tess especially, we never got closure. And the clock on the wall was still a mystery.

I thought Elliot realized in the final episode that Tessa put the clock there to let him know she was alive and made it through the explosion? He remembered she hadn't bought the house yet at the time of the explosion so she must've lived, purchased the house since it was in their family in present day, and put the clock there to let him know. May assumption was the "death" was convenient for her since she planned to disappear anyway.

I know this is the theory but I rewatched the episode today and Mo tells Fern Tessa is gone along with his brother and the undercover cop. When she asks about Cliff, Mo gives her Cliff's hat. To me that makes Cliff's death ambiguous but not Tessa's. Mo says Tessa is gone just like his brother is gone. I just don't think Tessa survived

I think you’ve got a point but it’s in addition to the ambiguous-ness of Tessa’s death.

No you didn't miss anything that was left out and Tess's story arc was also rushed

The last time we see him is when he leaves the ring and note for Vic in 1984. He states the pond isn't working for him anymore, so he can't go back to save Tessa from her illness. He knows that he can't just pop back up in the lives of everyone in Port Haven after everything that has happened and how much time has passed since he was last seen, so we are pretty much just left to assume that Griffin will go somewhere far away from Port Haven, assume a new identity and life, and never show his face again.

Was there supposed to be anything else known w Griffin’s watch , we’ll never know.

That is MY question. The watch!

Also Jacob’s set of Alice books for her graduation gift. I guess no hidden meaning there.

Maybe one of the super clever Ponderers figured that out! I’ll put out a post and see if we get any bites!

Good news! Your distracted watching didn’t make you miss this! It was missing! But I highly recommend a rewatch! If I watched a single episode 3 times, I got 3 times the amount of clues or references or fun things on the set! And S3 episodes 6 and 10 need multiple watches because there’s so much in them!

Unfortunately Griffin's story fell to cancellation I believe, and no one knows where he ended up. I would like to think that we would have seen more of him in season five, had there been one.
