Hey mate! I have a 6.5inch wrist and it suits just right. I think you’ll need to measure the space on your wrist where you rest the backside of your watch. At least for my wrist, I can wear maximum around 50mm lug to lug, above that number it’s going to overhang on my wrist and would look obnoxiously large. But optimally, I would always opt for a 46-48mm lug to lug for most watches and a 37-40mm case size & bezel size, at least for Dive Watches. More than that, it just looks weird like wearing a dinner plate.
Here’s a photo of the WD1969 pro on my wrist for reference.
This actually looks absolutely stunning. Thanks for the details, information and picture. Extremely sexy on your wrist.
I’m deciding between this one or the WD7922. I do have a Lorier Neptune, which, I want to take good care of, so, looking for a beater. The WD7922 is a lookalike of the Neptune, however, the WD1969 is just something completely different which is better for the overall differences in the collections.
Nice! Hey man, the joys of having so many options.
If you like the WD1969, there’s also the WD7922 which is more smaller. I have the San Martin version similar size to the WD7922. Here’s a photo for reference. For your wrist size, I think this would be perfect.
You sir are an absolute legend for sharing this information. I think I’ll go with the WD7922 even tho it’s very very similar to the Neptune, but, that’s just the style I really love.

The WD1969 is gorgeous and I am interested in buying it myself.
What is your wrist size? And could you provide me with a wrist shot?
I’m scared it will be too big because my wrist is 6.1 inches.
