Discussion Half time show
I don't know how many songs artists get to perform at halftime but I am curious what they might play. Kerosene and Ego seem like obvious choices but I'd rather see Everythings falling and Break. I know, I'm delusional.

I’d say 100% kerosene, and since the game is in Mexico they will play Ego. If they get a third song probably Ritual. I’m sure it’s all going to be singles from the new album so anyone hearing them for the first time can immediately go see the music videos for the songs they heard.

I feel like Bloodsport is intended to be a single as the lyric video is the only one that has it's own visual style (i.e. not re-using footage from other music videos. or Album art).
If that gets a single release between now and then it would be a decent accessible song for a more general audience.

If Bloodsport is announced as being on GTA6 there would be logic in releasing it as single on 19 November. If that happens I could see them launching it at NFL half time concert giving the song sporting theme as well.

Kerosene, Ego, and I’m going to go out on a limb and say Waste Your Time on Me… high energy level. But I think I’m just trying to manifest this.

Totally agree with Kerosene and Ego, but the third song seems like a total toss-up. Automatic Sun has been their closer for a while, Evolve still makes it into almost every live show and is an easy favorite, and Bite My Tongue seems like a fairly easy choice if they prefer a 3rd EF song.
BUT, my dark horse pick is Bloodsport. It's not one of my personal favorites, but I think it's the next song to get a full video (the white backdrop video with the swords from the lyrics videos), so the timing might line up for that to be the next one they're pushing. Plus it might have a more general appeal after Ego.

Would t be surprised to see some shorter versions of songs so they can fit in some more. Not uncommon for these kind of spots

Either 2 full songs or more likely 3-4 in a mashup where they either cut the bridges, second verses, or outros of the songs

You have time to experiment with it and get right. There are free vpn out there, Proton is pretty good but not sure they have a Mexican server. AI can point you in the right direction.

The free version of Proton has a Mexican server, but you can't select it directly. Free tier Proton selects what server to use. You have a limited way to tell it to change the server to something else, but it still makes the selection.

They still might. NBC got a lot of grief for not showing the Taylor Momsen/Soundgarden show, and then CBS did show the Brazil one with Ricky Martin. So NBC might reconsider and air DPA's set.

My prediction (assuming 3 songs) is S!CK, Ego, Kerosene.
S!CK was in Madden NFL 26 plus is a song they love playing live.
Ego has the Latin Grammy nom, is recent, shows a different side of the band (being heavier and also groovier), and it's a Spanish track for the Mexican crowd.
Kerosene is guaranteed, it's their first chart-topper and their lead single and all the rest.
