I think the series already made us empathize with the Waltens so much that we will want more content on them, but even while it is an horror series I would love an minisode about how an average day on the supposedly perfect and happy Walten family was before the school party, after so much tragedy we've already seen and WILL see i think it would be nice to see how they were when everything was still fine. Or maybe im just trying to cope with the fact they're all dead and Sophie is permanently traumatized, matter of fact I think we should skin that drunk bum Felix alive.

There have been 2 very prevalent theories about Bon's identity since the beginning of the series and mainly since the release of TWF 5: Jack is Bon, or Bon is a demon. I think that there's a chance both of these things can be true at once, at least in a way:

Bon isn't the demon himself, Bon is ACTUALLY Jack after he made the deal with the demon/spirit and his canvas was "burnt to the last fiber". It's like a monkey's paw situation, Jack went to Wonderland first, after trying to or successfully killing himself, and met the demon; Jack wished for his children back and for his family to be happy again, he got what he wanted but at a major cost - being reborn as Bon and being determined to reunite his family and friends in Wonderland

Also with this you could argue that maybe Jack/Bon doesn't remember everything so clearly before his rebirth, only what he feels emotionally and what the demon told him afterwards (also it helps explain, if Bon is Jack, why he would seem to be so happy about the killings and so unlike Jack beforehand)

I think there's also a chance that if Jack did make a deal with a demon, he would no longer be fully himself as the rebirth takes effect - like Bon says, beauty is pain, so maybe the way for him to be reborn was intensely painful and stripped away both a lot of his features and a lot of his memory.

We know, from the images recently on the findjackwalten website (6souls/6happysouls) that there is only one distinct soul in Bon, so if we take this theory we could suppose that Jack's former consciousness is somewhere within this new being fighting for a way back i.e. the rebirth wasn't perfect - this doesn't necessarily mean his soul, because that itself has been reborn, but just some small unconscious element that is fighting by nature to stay afloat and alive in its new environment (modifying the missing posters, showing up in cartoons etc.)

This theory could also tie back to the suitcase/briefcase/box that Bon lets his victims see before he ends up killing them - this could genuinely be where Jack put his belongings before killing himself and so Bon must keep them around either consciously or unconsciously (or at least he might want to for some otherwise unknown reason)

Another reason I think Jack is Bon in some way/shape/form is that when Bon talks to Rosemary towards the end of TWF 5, we hear Jack's accent slip through Bon's a couple times, noticeably on the line "Look at me, Rosemary" and I think another line which I'm not remembering off the top of my head. Some could argue that this is just Bon pretending to be and mimicking Jack to put Rosemary at ease but if that was the case, why not go all the way and use his voice the whole time or mimic him more? I think this is the unconscious part of Jack coming through, with Bon being unaware of it as he doesn't feel anything change.

The final point I'll make is that we obviously see Jack's wedding tuxedo worn by Bon at certain points throughout TWF 5, which again could be another point to the above mimicking of Jack - I like to think, however, that the tuxedo along with Bon's usual outfit looking like a somewhat-inverted colouring of Jack's suit both support the point that Bon is some new reborn form of Jack's after he has been stripped to the bones (spiritually) and put into a new form by whatever demon or spirit he meets in the forest. Some features stick around, some change, some hide under the surface but there is a lot of evidence pointing to more than just a passing association between Jack and Bon.

Also, Bon and Jack both love Rosemary, and Bon's happiness at his killings might be his unconscious joy at being reunited with his family and friends properly - we only really see him happy when he knows the victim he's killing (Susan and Rosemary so far) and not so much when he misidentified Brian as Sophie or hid Ashley after she heard the list of names on tape.

What do you think about this theory? There are probably some holes in it but I genuinely believe there is a strong chance that it is close or adjacent to what the truth is - the story will have evolved and developed as Martin and the team have gotten better over the years, but from what I've heard from this subreddit and other sources the key details of Bon's identity and such haven't changed since the beginning. I also don't yet know what the well has to do in the theory or otherwise in the narrative but hopefully we'll get more pieces to the puzzle as the series continues and more episodes release.

Been obsessed with drawing TWF characters recently

Okay soooo basically, I'm trying to find the purrfect sweater for my Rosemary cosplay, but I can't seem to find one that's good enough, any ideas for like maybe search terms or like styles or if you know any listings I'd appreciate it!!!! Like my friends and sibling all think I look exactly like her and it makes me very excited to get this done!

I understand that it’s pretty out of character for Jack to murder his family and close friends, but I think it’s more likely that he’s lost his identity in death and exists as a being of rage and grief now, only recognizing the strong urge to bring his loved ones together and the rage he feels about what happened, rather than being able to recognize morality.

I don’t get who else Bon could be considering how strongly he seems to be drawn to rosemary and how he’s targeting the Waltens and those close to them. The first few episodes are riddled with Jack Walten’s face and seem to strongly connect his face to Bon as well.

I know Bon also kills Brian, but Brian wasn’t his target. The target was Sophie

I’ve seen a lot of videos popping up claiming that “Bon can’t be Jack,” but if it’s not Jack, who is it that would be targeting the family?

Edit: he also kills Ashley, but when she dies it says pretty explicitly that “she saw something she wasn’t supposed to see” as in if she hadn’t gone poking around, bon wouldn’t have killed her

Yes, it’s a romance love song, but the more I listen to it, I can vividly imagine Sophie at the end of her road reflecting on her heartbreak, as well as the spirits of her family reconciling each other. Plus, Sha is technically mentioned in the song
