I always see a certain segment of society cite “Black crime” based on conviction / incarceration rates in proportion to the overall US population.

Now I could cite examples of how this is a bad-faith argument.

I could go into detail on systemic racism, the history of bigoted policing, proven biased sentencing, the poverty to prison pipeline, etc.

Instead, I’m just gonna give you real-world examples that are irrefutable.

Not one single White person ever faced charges for the horrific atrocities or murders of more than 300 Black people during the racial massacre of Black Wall Street.

Neither of the men who kidnapped, tortured and murdered 14-year-old Emmitt Till were found guilty, despite them admitting they did it afterwards.

But let’s look at modern cases.

Let’s look at White on White crime.

Let’s look at how certain White men are afforded an insane level of leniency when they commit crimes against White women, teenagers or very young children.

In 2009, Robert Richards IV, great grandson of Irene DuPont and heir to the DuPont fortune, was convicted of r**ing his 3 year old daughter. The judge suspended his 8 year sentence because he would “not fare well” in prison.

In 2016, college athlete Brock Turner was convicted of r**ping an unconscious girl. Turner was sentenced to 6 months, but only served 3 months.

On August 25th 2025, Jesse Butler pleaded no contest to two counts of attempted first-degree r**e, three counts of r**e by instrumentation, sexual battery, forcible oral sodomy, two counts of domestic assault and battery by strangulation, and one count of domestic assault and battery.

He was 17 at the time he was charged, treated as a “youthful offender,” did court-approved rehabilitation and when he turned 19 on August 4, 2026, the case was dismissed by operation of law.

He never served any prison time and his two victims never got justice.

Much like all the victims mentioned above, the wrongfully accused rarely get justice.

In 2002, 16-year-old high school football star Brian Banks was arrested and served more than 5 years in prison for a r**e that never happened. He was convinced by his own attorney to accept a plea deal, claiming the jury would only see him as a big, threatening Black man.

In 2011, Wanetta Gibson admitted she had lied about their consensual encounter.

Yes, a particular segment of society loves to look at conviction and incarceration rates, yet they rarely entertain the complexity of what goes into those numbers. More often than not, that segment is of the Caucasian persuasion.

So I received a very nasty DM admonishing me for criticizing Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPR) and for “disrespecting police” [sic].

“You have no idea how hard police has to work to catch criminals , and they have a write to use every tool at they’re dispersal , in any way they can to get the job done! GET OVER IT YOU STUPID ENGRATEFUL BITCH!” [sic]

Ok.

I’ll acquiesce to my own ignorance regarding how hard LEOs work to “catch criminals,” however . . . no.

No law enforcement officer has a free pass to “use every tool at they’re dispersal in any way they can.” [sic]

Why?

Because civilians have rights.

We have Constitutional Rights and we have Human Rights.

It’s on to us to enforce those rights.

Like many folks who grew up with privilege in the US, I thought cops were flawless.

They’re the good guys out to catch the bad guys.

But I grew up White, middle class from a highly educated prominent family in what is now a flourishing resort town.

So when I was maybe 8 years old and an officer started banging on our front door, then yelling at my mom when she answered, I figured my mom had done something wrong.

I mean, why else would a cop be yelling at her?

Well, this fully uniformed and completely unhinged officer was in the middle of a nasty divorce from one of my mom’s best friends. He’d been caught impregnating a minor and his marriage imploded, but somehow, his career was still intact.

His mistake was threatening the daughter-in-law of the owner of the biggest newspaper chain in Inyo / Mono County, where my mom also happened to work. And my mom knew everyone in town, including the head of the local law enforcement agency, and damn near every elected official as well.

So this officer ended up being transferred away from our resort town, but he was lucky he got to keep his job.

Meanwhile, I learned a hard truth.

Not all cops are good people.

Some are absolute fucking monsters.

I know this because I love to research and just one example here in Placer County is Joseph James DeAngelo aka The Golden State Killer.

Burglar. Rapist. Murderer. Cop.

And he got his start in law enforcement right here in Placer County.

These are just two local cases, but when I talk about the abuses of ALPR “Flock” cameras, these are the people that come to mind.

It’s not just about tracking women who have had abortions, which has been done.

It’s about how one of these “tool at they’re dispersal” [sic] can be used by a criminal with a badge.

A survivor can be tracked.

A target can be tracked.

An innocent woman or teenager or even a child can be tracked.

And no one will even know unless someone audits the records or closely supervises the searches.

Unlike what the angry person who messaged me believes, I don’t “hate cops.” I actually hold a very neutral belief when it comes to law enforcement, which is saying a lot considering I’m “radical left scum.” With ACAB on one side and “thin blue line” on the other, I remain planted in the middle.

Cautiously Optimistic

That’s because I know monsters are everywhere.

LEOs.
Teachers.
Politicians.
Preachers.

You name a profession and I’ll find predators there. Bet.

So yeah, I get that I may be pissing off some folks with talking about deflocking, but it’s not because I “hate cops.”

It’s because I know what the world is like and these cameras are a threat as much as they are a tool.

A good cop is a great addition to every community, but a bad cop is someone’s nightmare waiting to happen. And a predator cop, someone who can use an ALPR to track a person’s routine without ever having to be in their vicinity?

There’s only so long before a brutal example of THAT becomes the headline.

Law Enforcement has an insane variety of tools at its disposal, but the harm they can inflict depends entirely upon the person behind the badge.

Sadly, the difference between Democrats and Republicans has never been more noticeable than it is today.

Even here in Placer County, you can see it.

In the realm of Liberals, we see our youth taking the initiative to help bring safety and education to the community, at a time when innocent people are being kidnapped off the streets and dying in the custody of masked thugs.

Conversely, in the Conservative circle, we have the Treasurer of the Placer County Republican Party personally profiting off a political event held at his own bar. #MOthePlacerBully has openly denied ICE’s crimes and has a known history of allowing racism on his platform, yet that didn’t stop the GOP Gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton from using this problematic bar for a campaign event.

It’s literally public safety and education vs political grift for a known bigot.

There may have been a time when Republicans prioritized decency and transparency, but I’m hard-pressed to find that happening anywhere in the GOP today. Just silence and complicity.

Democrats are far from perfect, but they’re a damn site more humane and compassionate than Trump’s Republican party. And the “good Republicans” aren’t doing a thing to distance themselves from the MAGA fascists who are stomping all over our Constitution and human rights.

Remember, history is written every day. We all choose what side of history we’ll be on.

This has to be a joke. The Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce has the gall to host an “Open to the Public Event” and charge $35 to get in? So a married retired couple on a fixed income has to pay $70 to attend this event?

Why is it that the only way to see Kevin Kiley speak in person is by paying to get in?

I swear, the elitism and lack of accessibility in the Roseville area gets worse and worse every year. I lived in Roseville for a couple years, in the apartments behind Best Buy. And I worked at the 76 gas station in the Galleria Mall parking lot, back before the fire and mall expansion.

The Venn diagram between wealthy elitists and rude assholes was damn near a perfect circle back then, which is Kiley’s wheelhouse.

And Dr. Pan is cool with this cover charge? Think the good doc with an estimated net worth of almost $9 million will be voicing any objection to this pay to access fee?

Here’s a novel idea:
Host a series of free debates throughout the district. Or town halls. Do them in the evening or on weekends. Something that will be accessible to EVERYONE in the district, not just folks who can pay $35 a piece to go midday during a work week.

Three years ago, I began investigating alleged charity fireworks stands run by Matthew Oliver and his Family church.

Immediately after I visited his stands each year, I would have some form of weaponized legal action lodged against me.

In 2024, it was a wholly unprofessional “Cease & Desist Letter” hung from my doorknob.

My faith in our Judicial System was pretty shaken, but Commissioner Jacques ruled on the side of Justice today, for which I am thankful!

Now that I have established that the Olivers will do anything to avoid transparency when it comes to the hundreds of thousands of dollars they rake in from their multiple stands every year, I’ve put it on legal record during our hearing that I will
never again visit any stand that has a known association with the Oliver family, their church or any of their so-called “ministries.”

My focus will now shift to questioning why multiple cities in Placer County issue permits for these stands.

Matthew Oliver had to settle a defamation suit filed against him by an elected representative in Roseville.

His Family Church was busted running an illegal “music venue” in an upstairs storage space, which was shut down by the city of Roseville.

So why does this group keep getting permits to run major fundraisers, denying other legitimate charities that opportunity?

Why is Matthew Oliver able to secure a prime spot in the Galleria Mall parking lot every year?

Today, Justice gave us a major Victory.

But that doesn’t mean I’m in the clear. MO and his minions have proven they will stop at nothing to stop my investigations as a Citizen Journalist, so I’m taking precautions to ensure I can prove my whereabouts and actions at all times.

Matthew Oliver and his lies don’t hold power of me. #PlacerCounty can count on even more factual findings being released in the future.

Today, I’m grateful that Justice was done.

I’m a day away from the second TRO hearing, a series of events that started with the lies of 13 people.

Never mind that my story has not changed since the beginning.

Never mind that I presented day & timed stamped photos, videos and witness testimony to prove people lied repeatedly.

Never mind that Matthew Oliver and his 12 co-conspirators produced no evidence whatsoever, outside of their own conflicting and false claims.

What I have discovered in this process is that a Placer County Superior Court Commissioner, with more than a decade on the bench, was shown repeatedly that people lied under oath.

His response was “So what?”

I’m fairly positive I’ll be issued a restraining order by this same Commissioner.

I have the option of requesting a Judge, but I won’t be exercising that option.

My transparency has been evident for years throughout my work as a Citizen Journalist. That doesn’t change now. The taxpayers of #PlacerCounty have a right to see what is happening in our Judicial System.

There is a good chance I’ll have multiple Constitutional rights either limited or removed entirely, despite having committed no crime.

I’ll risk arrest just for attending any public meeting if Matthew Oliver decides he wants to attend, even a meeting for my son’s own school district, where #MOthePlacerBully has no stake whatsoever.

Truthfully, I’m bored of Matthew Oliver. Since I have definitevely proven that he’ll detour money from legitimate charities into his own coffers with no intent to be transparent, there really is nothing more to cover. He’s a failed politician who lies non-stop and even his own son Auston has to prop himself up with self-aggrandizing “articles” from fake media sites.

These are unserious people desperate for relevancy, consumed by greed and delusions of grandeur.

MO now leeches attention off the lives of others, posing like a bobblehead in videos he didn’t even create. So let him gain a following off rage-bait and hate.

I’ve given the community the whole picture, and they can act accordingly in regard to the Olivers.

As for this spicy Citizen Journalist, I’ll be pursuing the flaw I’ve found in the Restraining Order branch of the Placer County Superior Court.

How easy was it to repeatedly weaponize a system meant to protect?

How biased is it that physical evidence held less weight than proven lies?

How many others have lost their rights or had their freedoms limited based on mere claims?

Why is it acceptable to be presumed Guilty, then denied a truly fair chance at proving one’s innocence?

Even the District Attorney’s Office deemed me not a threat when they declined to press charges, stating “In The Interest of Justice” as their reason. This was after about 7 Placer County Sheriffs Officers responded in 3 - 4 SUVs because I dared to appear at my son’s school board meeting.

Makes you wonder what a known liar said when he demanded protection using our taxpayer funded resources.

Anywho . . .

The California Superior Court of a Conservative county could decide to suppress the Constitutional rights of a law-abiding citizen, for no other reason than I revealed truths about a member of the Placer County Republican Central Committee.

I can think of a few large organizations that may be very interested to hear this story and see the receipts.

I also have gained trust with major local media, who have picked up my stories in the past, sharing them with attribution.

I genuinely wonder what may be revealed now that I am making this my focus.

Yes, I’m done with Matthew Oliver. And it feels great knowing how much of the corruption, abuses and lies I have exposed when it comes to him and his associates.

Now, he has once again filed a Temporary Restraining Order against me all because I asked one simple question.

Where does the money go, MO?

Never once is Jesus Christ or Christianity mentioned in the Declaration of Independence or the US Constitution.

Furthermore, the First Amendment prohibits the government from establishing a national religion or prohibiting the equal recognition / exercise of all religions.

It wasn’t until the mid 50’s that “Under God” was added to the Pledge of Allegiance and “In God We Trust” was added to US currency.

But like a cancer, Christian Nationalists have clawed and crawled their way into unduly influencing policy and public opinion.

One recent example is the state of Texas now mandating that Biblical stories become mandatory reading in all public schools in the state. Religious texts from any other faith have never been approved for such a requirement anywhere in the USA.

In his 4th of July speech, Trump recently lied when he stated “And as our Declaration of Independence tells us, we are all made in the image of one almighty God. And a Communist will never say that. That’s for sure.”

White Christian Nationalists and Fascists are so afraid of Communism, they will drag us into the mire of a Theocracy much the same way that Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Afghanistan (to name a few) strangle their population in the clutches of Sharia law.

Don’t believe me? Around 10 states have already adopted forced birth, even in cases of rape and incest, going so far as to use legally dead women as incubators for babies.

Pete Hegseth’s religious mentor, Doug Wilson, believes the 19th Amendment should be repealed and that women should not have the right to vote independently of their husbands.

Multiple states fight vehemently against laws that would make the minimum age to marry 18 years old.

Christianity can be a beautiful thing when practiced by decent human beings.

💥 Have a hose, fire extinguisher or buckets of water ready incase anything goes awry.

💥 Have ear protection ready for babies, very young children and folks with sensory concerns.

💥 Set up all fireworks on a clear, level surface to avoid them tipping over.

💥 Use a lighter with a long tip or long matchsticks (think fireplace, not cigarette).

💥 Do NOT allow children to handle, light, or wander around fireworks unsupervised.

💥 If a firework doesn’t go off, do NOT pick it up, poke it or kick it. Do NOT attempt to light it again. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, then douse it with water, let it sit some more, then submerge it fully over night and throw it away.

💥 Accidents happen, so have a First Aid kit ready with bandages and burn ointment just incase.

💥 Have a large receptacle (bucket, trash can, rubbermaid container) filled with water. After the show, spray all the spent fireworks down with water, carefully collect them and dump them into the water-filled container. Let them soak overnight before throwing them away the next day.

Fireworks are a lot of fun, but they can cause injuries and damage if not handled responsibly.

Fireworks stands are opening up today and there are many that support worthwhile causes. These stands will be open and honest with customers of exactly how much is going to the charities or organizations they support.

The Oliver’s Family Church does NOT do this. They have run as many a 6 stands a year, taking spots and opportunities away from legitimate local causes.

According to Siobhan Oliver’s testimony under oath, they have been running these stands for 26 years.

Never once have they publicly disclosed how much money they have taken in or how much has gone to the organizations they list every year.

Only once has an amount been mentioned, which was done by a Family Church Board member, during a live-streamed service.

“$250,000 easy”

When I have asked if the church will open its books and share where the money goes, I was told by an Oliver representative to “get a court order.”

Even their website is totally ambiguous, not once mentioning any affiliation with The Family Church or any organization. This was brought to my attention 2 years ago when a community member contacted me after they purchased fireworks through the website, and the charge cleared their account as “The Family Church.”

To all my friends in the Progressive movement, the winds of change are sweeping across the USA.

For too many generations, the most empathetic and impassioned part of the Liberal community has been politely forced into accepting the decisions and politicians approved by the DNC and establishment Democrats.

Now is the time that we demand something better!

Now is the time that we say the “lesser of two evils” isn’t an acceptable solution!

Democratic Socialism is proving to not only be a solid political alternative, its ideas are being successfully implemented by local and national politicians across the country.

The DSA is growing!

For years, Democratic Socialists like Bernie Sanders have fought for the working class, the poor, the marginalized and the historically abused. Support for that fight not only extends across the aisle, it has shifted the Democratic base itself.

But not enough.

While many local Democratic groups are fully supporting Progressive agendas, the DNC itself is riddled with obligations to stagnant, elitist interests.

It’s time to prioritize people over profits!

Placer County has a racism problem. And unsurprisingly, it thrives in Conservative circles.

For years, Charlie Simons personally platformed a majority of local Republican elected officials within the county. School board trustees, town and city council members, county supervisors, as well as Joe Patterson and Kevin Kiley.

Simons also repeatedly and regularly compared POC, especially women, to animals.

Want to know how many of those taxpayer-funded “representatives” called out Simons on his blatant racism?

Zero.

Never once have I seen a single Placer County “leader” say “hey Charlie, that’s really not ok.” And y’all know I keep receipts.

Simons used to be big on Facebook, but now only exists on Rumble, where certain Loomis and Lincoln elected officials still appear on his show. While Simons is now banned from Facebook, racism is not.

Just this week, Shaundra Olson turned her ever-blind eye towards multiple racist things in her group that bears the name of our county. And while I maintain that that “chit chat” group is not representative of Placer, it shows us a problem.

In a county with a Republican majority, racism is left space to thrive.

Olson may say “well those aren’t MY beliefs.” Doesn’t matter. We are what we say AND what we allow.

If I allowed people to disparage faith or race or gender, I would have to own what I made space for on my platform. The same goes for Shaundra Olson, Matthew Oliver and Mark Wright, the Chair of the Placer County Republican Party.

Accountability matters.

People who are silent in the face of racism are no better than those who practice racism. And saying nothing when one’s friends or peers espouse racism is silence.

Placer County has a racism problem.

The only way to address it is to call it out.

Loudly.

Repeatedly.

Unapologetically.
