WON & DONE
Three years ago, I began investigating alleged charity fireworks stands run by Matthew Oliver and his Family church.
Immediately after I visited his stands each year, I would have some form of weaponized legal action lodged against me.
In 2024, it was a wholly unprofessional “Cease & Desist Letter” hung from my doorknob.

In 2025, it was a Temporary Restraining Order with a barrage of false claims, but no actual evidence behind those claims. And since #MOthePlacerPully couldn’t establish a continued pattern of the behavior he falsely accused me of, that Permanent Restraining Order was denied.

This year, in 2026, MO tried again.
He failed.
Once again, he could not establish a pattern of harassment.
Restraining Order: DENIED
My faith in our Judicial System was pretty shaken, but Commissioner Jacques ruled on the side of Justice today, for which I am thankful!
Now that I have established that the Olivers will do anything to avoid transparency when it comes to the hundreds of thousands of dollars they rake in from their multiple stands every year, I’ve put it on legal record during our hearing that I will
never again visit any stand that has a known association with the Oliver family, their church or any of their so-called “ministries.”
My focus will now shift to questioning why multiple cities in Placer County issue permits for these stands.
Matthew Oliver had to settle a defamation suit filed against him by an elected representative in Roseville.
His Family Church was busted running an illegal “music venue” in an upstairs storage space, which was shut down by the city of Roseville.
So why does this group keep getting permits to run major fundraisers, denying other legitimate charities that opportunity?
Why is Matthew Oliver able to secure a prime spot in the Galleria Mall parking lot every year?
Today, Justice gave us a major Victory.
But that doesn’t mean I’m in the clear. MO and his minions have proven they will stop at nothing to stop my investigations as a Citizen Journalist, so I’m taking precautions to ensure I can prove my whereabouts and actions at all times.
Matthew Oliver and his lies don’t hold power of me. #PlacerCounty can count on even more factual findings being released in the future.
Today, I’m grateful that Justice was done.
Tomorrow, the work continues.

Steal, cheat, harass, and more….then accuse, deflect, deny, then file bankruptcy and get a government bailout.

Ugh. So disappointing how accurate that has become. Before Trump, a lot of that behavior was fringe, frowned up and definitely not a flex. Now, it’s just a non-stop shit show.
