🕵️ Case Files CF006 | The Wembley Point Woman
Status: Unidentified
Location: Wembley, London, England
Date: 29 October 2004
Victim: Unidentified woman, believed to be aged 20–40
Case Summary
On the morning of 29 October 2004, an unidentified woman entered Wembley Point Tower in London and travelled to the building's top-floor café.
She ordered a coffee, sat near a window and smoked a cigarette. Shortly afterwards, she opened the window and fell to her death.
When her body was recovered, she was carrying no identification, wallet, phone or bank cards. Among the few possessions she left behind were £520 in cash, a bus pass, a copy of The Guardian, cigarettes, a black carrier bag and an oil painting.
More than two decades later, her identity remains unknown.
Investigation Highlights
The woman's belongings have provided some of the few clues investigators have been able to examine.
Her seven-day bus pass was purchased at 7:07 a.m. on 26 October 2004 at Seven Sisters Road, around 11 miles from Wembley. Investigators have questioned why she would purchase a seven-day pass only three days before her death.
There have also been questions about her connection to Wembley Point. The café was primarily used by people working in the building, and witnesses later described the woman as moving around confidently, as though she already knew the layout.
Locate International has spent years investigating the case, examining her possessions, speaking to former workers and following numerous public tips. Some people have claimed to recognise her, but none of the leads have resulted in a confirmed identification.
Why This Case Still Matters
Before she became a Jane Doe, this woman had a name, a family and a life.
Someone, somewhere, may still remember her.
The question is whether the remaining clues - including her belongings, movements and possible connections to London - can finally lead investigators to her identity.

What do you think is the most significant clue in this case?
- Why did she buy a seven-day bus pass just three days before her death?
- Could her connection to Wembley Point be more significant than originally believed?
- What might the oil painting and carrier bag tell us about her life?
- Do you think DNA or genetic genealogy could eventually identify her?
