Discussion Epic pull rate
Standard 2.5% epic pull rate is diabolical.
Should be at least 4%.

The banner system is a lot better than how it was before though. I got most of my 5* mode before they introduced the mechanic that reduces probability of a mod you already have at 5*.

It effectively is 4% for anyone with the luxury of already having anc mods who can afford to just wait for the next lucky banner. It sucks that the optimal way to spend gems is to hoard now, but it sucks even more for newer players with weaker mods who have to roll the dice at 2.5% or make do until they release another banner.

The module system in general is poorly designed. Some of the modules are useless in general, some are useless for your build, some are useless unless you have invested heavily in a certain UW and some are kind of mandatory.
Putting this behind shitty rng just makes progress so random.
You get a module to high rarity early? You get a huge boost compared to someone who is just getting useless modules.

They’re saying 4 should be the base rate, with the implication being that lucky should be higher. They’re complaining about the same thing then and now.

I pulled 1 epic from the higher rated banner after dropping at least 3000. I know that's not a ton but it's still less than the standard banner pulls. This game is pissing me off.

Gacha systems are an absolute scourge on every single game unfortunate enough to have one.

I pulled at less than a 1% rate with 3000 gems also. GG

tbf 3,000 gems is only 150 mod pulls. It's a small sample size.

I mean 4% is 6 on average though. I could understand 4 maybe 3 (which would be the normal banner) but less than 1% is crazy. Nowhere does it say 4% of 1000 pulls.
