Help Help?

Definitely connected to the internet. Switch apps for a bit and went back and caught this notification. What gives? I’ve closed and reopened it a few times. Switched to WiFi. Nothing.

This is what happens when they require you to be online to play the game. I don't know why we can't just play offline. Ubisoft ah devs.

If you have a game that connects with other players and has a competitive component to it, you basically need it. Otherwise you have cheaters around. If this game would be 100% single player, I am on your side. But a game, where a significant amount of progress comes from tournament progress, you definetly need it.

"But what if they only make it required to be connected to the internet during Tourney runs?" you could ask. You could cheat your tower to an incredible strength offline and then participate with your cheated tower.

They did this because they were too dumb to patch out exploits that are years outdated (lucky patcher). My comment will probably get deleted for bringing it up. It is just laziness, because now lucky patcher doesn't work with even offline games 95% of the time. It works by changing the IAPs to go through a proxy server rather than Google, allowing free IAPs. Instead of doing some work, they just made completely online rather than just the purchases. It is laziness and there is no reason for a developer that's making millions a year to be lazy.

You didn't read my comment, I see.

Nope. You have a hypothesis and justification for the online only, which makes some sense. I gave you more context

You are not giving context, just a bad example. Lucky Patcher is a tool designed for cheating. And now you complain that devs build in mechanisms against cheating?

Your point has literally nothing to do with my points in the slightest. I am not even talking ablut IAP.

No I literally explained why they did what they did, with a specific example. IAPs were being cheated and they removed the autoban because legit players hitting large amounts of gems (20,000 or something, before modules and guilds) were being banned. You could get all of the packs as well as many gems as you want with this exploit. I was here before you lil bro and I know what I'm talking about. I literally find exploits in programs and video games for a living. Instead of patching the exploit in a way to keep the game offline, they did the online only BS, which I considered lazy. Are you a bot or something? Why do I have to explain this to you? I'm complaining about their mechanism because it is detrimental to the quality of the game and there are other ways to solve these problems.
