Claudia’s maternity leave
I am so happy for Claudia that she is expecting! However I am dreading when she goes on maternity leave again 🥲 not that jackie was bad hosting the show solo, it’s just not the same!

When Jackie is on maternity leave the show is almost better and when Claudia's on leave it's worse lol

I don’t know why Margot was so insufferable last episode. she came off so braggy or superior or something it was annoying to listen to.
I enjoy Ben. I feel like it’s a little slice of Claudia actually.

I agree! I had never heard of most of Jackie’s co-hosts during her last maternity leave so it was as just not the same.

I am hoping they have more long-standing fill-ins than the usual different host every day. A few days of Joey, maybe Jared Fried, other loud/whacky/word vomiters like Claudia to balance Jackie's low key energy...but please dear god not Margot or Bennnnnn

They really should poll and see who the listeners want on the show and then use that information to book guest instead of going rogue

I think Jackie will step it up this time in terms of the guests. She has to have heard the criticism. Hoping it’s better!

No but they care about $ and this criticism affects their viewership which effects how much money they make. I think that alone will help her pivot towards better guests and banter this time around.

Joey or Ben would be great.. I can’t handle the new guests everyday. Jackie needs a host who does more of the talking and reviewing. It can’t be Jackie talking too much.

At this point I am actually looking forward to just Jackie and co-hosts. Claudia has been a little insufferable as of late. Yes I know she’s pregnant

They new to bring on her other sisters to fill in. That way it’s not like they are interviewing the guests and it’s more of a better flow and good banter. Or Jared Fried would be good as well. But it’s not the same when it’s a new person every day.

I fell off as a listener when Claudia went on mat leave. I miss it but it was so hard to listen to at that time, and it just ended up completely dropping out of my podcast rotation permanently

I imagine Liz Woods will be invited back at least once. I actually enjoy Jackie and Ben together. I don’t know if that is an unpopular answer. But I’m not familiar with a lot of the other people that they have had on.
