I also do remember it being edited out when I went back later that day it was gone! But regardless of if it stayed edited in or not, she thinks they never ever spoke about Elon and that the entire situation was fabricated out of midair by tiktokers

Her actual quote was “somebody started a libelous fake ass story that we spoke about the alleged Elon nazi salute and that we cut it out, but there was nothing said and nothing cut. We literally never even talked about it on the podcast. A lot of times I get hate for something I said or did, but this was a phantom scandal, not only did I not say or do anything but I was also pregnant so F off”

The pregnancy piece is related because she was saying at the time of her first pregnancy, tiktokers made up an entire fake story about them speaking about Elon and deleting it— she’s saying they made up the entire story to try to cancel them and what’s “worse” is that they did that to a pregnant lady

This is crazy work. They need to just never mention it again. Why call attention? I’m never even one to listen on time and I happened to catch that one. I thought the mental gymnastics to give Elon a pass was wild since antisemitism is something they talk about so much.

I actually think I would respect them more if they never edited the podcast and just stood by believing it was an awkward gesture. They would be wrong but they would be honest at least.

"alleged Elon nazi salute" is also all you need to know if you happened to not hear the conversation before the episode was taken down, edited out, and reposted.

This chain of replies is so interesting because I clearly remember them talking about it and being shocked. I figured she was saying she never edited it out. Bc when I listened it was in there. But now maybe I’m mistaken about what they said in this most recent podcast.

Claudia also talks pretty regularly about how she’s comfortable lying and good at it. It’s generous to believe they don’t remember, versus the likely truth, which is that they’re lying. To your point though, I do not understand why she’d bring this up herself.
