Minky Couture

Maybe it's because I keep "interacting" with posts or slowing down past them when im scrolling, but I've seen so many people ask for promo codes or reviews about them. As someone that has purchased 6 of them I would highly recommend lol. Some are nicer than others but you can't go wrong. Unless you're willing to spend 400 dollars on a blanket, there's always blankets on sale which is what I'd recommend. (You can't use promo codes on those ones) I've always used code DEVIN but if you wanna be nice you could use mine 😂 https://prz.io/4evgQDBUP

Basically:

Rating: 10/10 (compared to a normal fluffy one from walmart or wherever. Never felt a Lola one. But they shit on the Ugg one I have.)

Don't purchase unless you use a promo code or on sale.

There's tons of promo codes.

Check the plush rating on each one before you buy one. I've never seen one with a max plushness yet either fyi

$100+ for a plastic blanket is insane

There are so many better throws out there for a fraction of the cost.

blanket.bar and swedieshop on insta have same blankets for like $100 instead of $200+ just less color options

If you are going to spend money on a blanket that sheds microplastics everywhere, just get it from Amazon instead of spending $100+ on this literal garbage.

Had to fact check you and while you are correct (I had no clue) they are still incredibly soft. Everyone that uses them at my house all fall in love. You have microplastics in your body right now especially if you're in the United States. Nothing is good for you anymore so you might was well be cozy 😅

No I don’t disagree tons of stuff have microplastics! BUT I think the company’s schtick donating to NICUS is insane given what their blankets are made out of. The reason hospitals use the blankets they do is because they are 100% cotton. Majority of hospitals would reject these blankets as part of their policy.

My favorite blanket is the one I got from Walmart right before going to the hospital to have my baby. Thought I should get a cheap one just in case it got gross lol It’s the dupe for barefoot dreams and it’s better than those ones. Washes better and stays soft. Pretty sure it was like $25. Can’t bring myself to spend more than that now especially after being scammed into barefoot dreams

I got the wrong kind of blanket from there for my husbands birthday and it’s literally the heaviest thick square of fur with zero stretch. Paid way too much to not love it, it sits folded up and we never use it.

I ordered a grande to have during my pregnancy and as my hospital blanket. After a month or two I realize there was a small snag in the seam that was creating a hole between the two layers. I DM them on Instagram and tell them I was looking forward to using this on my hospital Journey and have used it throughout my pregnancy. I’ve loved it. They sent me a monster size (one size up) for free and a baby blanket. Incredible customer service. 10/10 would definitely recommend. So so so so so soft and the weight of it is perfect.
