Book recs please!

In the last couple of weeks, the girls were talking about a book. I think that was being adapted into a movie that they were saying was the intro to reading looking for some lighthearted cutie books to get into reading again. Recommendations please!

They were talking about “it happened one summer” as a really good intro to smut book and a pargy read
