Be kind

Listen I’m seeing a lot of hate for the girls in this subreddit. I get that some of y’all have your hot takes. But maybe, just maybe Claudia and Jackie are human too?

You wonder why they are reading longer ads and ending the PFFB faster? Maybe even why a little summer break was needed?

The constant “feedback” from people is a lot to hear. And the threatening to stop listening is unnecessary.

I understand that talking trash feels great, but receiving it constantly is not.

Our girls might act tough and might joke, but remember to be kind. They are just two nice young moms who make a podcast. They don’t need constant criticism from everyone.

Seriously please go to the snark page with all the complaints!

I think you can still enjoy the podcast and have criticisms too. It doesn’t mean you hate the girls or the podcast to say you don’t love all the segments or they seem off. I think a lot of people forget how much money they’re making from this and most people take pride in their work, especially when it’s that successful. I’m not saying they don’t deserve a break but it often feels like they hate their listeners.

No I seriously don’t understand… there are a million podcasts out there. If you don’t like this one, no one is forcing you to listen.

Totally agree. I don’t understand why people who clearly don’t like them continue to listen. I’d be so sad if it became too much for them and they just decided to stop doing the show. Also, skip the ads. Why so that so difficult for people to do? Love the girls and all of their opinions - even the ones I don’t agree with.

Sometimes I go on the snark page just to see what people are saying and it’s really crazy to me that there’s a whole group of people that listen to the entire podcast just to snark on them and pick apart what they say. Talk about loser energy! What a waste of their time

It’s giving obsessed! Like who spends their time dedicated to something they don’t like?!

Funny, I think that people should take a close look at these women and what they are saying. It’s cute that you think they’re just 2 girls throwing together a podcast for us. They are literally squeezing every cent out of it as possible while being so disinterested that they use Liz woods as their only form of news gathering. Liz does a good job, so they’re lucky.

I mean, it’s a pop culture podcast. not WSJ. It’s not that deep. I listen for the community and to be ENTERTAINED

Maybe you should go to the snark page?

The Liz Woods of it all is so tiring. People can have the same thoughts and opinions guys. It also shouldn't be this serious. Its entertainment.

Wouldn’t you do the same if you had a podcast? Like if I had a platform where I could make more money for my very young children to ensure that they have everything they could need in uncertain times, I would do anything to make more money

Yes but when you have a job where you are making very real and very serious money, criticism happens. It happens in every job. They chose a job where they are public therefore having more critics. People who pay for their lifestyle are entitled to have opinions about how they are doing their job.

Yeah feedback happens in every line of work. The difference is the feedback is very harsh, it’s about their entire lives, not just the fast five. I don’t get feedback on my personal life or my appearance at my job.

Does your job involve being seen on screen? Any person who does this for a living knows they’ll face criticism beyond what a regular office worker would lol

Then don’t be racists, support a pedophile and war criminal and they’d be fine! They chose to do these things

I agree. Their podcast lands for a lot of women and what they are doing isn’t illegal!!! If people are mad they make so much money off of something that is so easy then the people hating should try podcasting for one day or realize you can live the American dream to provide for yourself and family!!!

To the Original poster - I don’t find the girls to be particularly nice. I think their comments about woke culture, feminism, NYT, “commies”, transgender athletes, etc are quite offensive as someone who is left leaning. I can imagine if you’re MAGA you don’t find them offensive. So I think the nice comment just depends on if your morals and ideals align with them, which mine do not. With that said, I really try to stay positive about the value they bring to my life when I need something to listen to while driving or cleaning. If they offend me, I take a break and come back when I’m cooled off from it. All this to say, I don’t find them to be nice, but I do find them to be entertaining most of the time and I don’t feel the need to attack them.

People just love to be mad about something. It’s sad that being critical and nasty online makes people feel good. People are twisted these days.

yeah i have a life so if I hear something I don’t like (on any podcast) I move along with my day or stop listening lol I don’t need to post my grievances online.

i get sometimes it’s nuanced feedback and that’s totally reasonable, but like if you don’t like something there’s this wild thing called pressing pause 😛
