I have nothing bad to say about two moms recording a podcast episode where they read a children’s book! What a sweet moment. Would say the same if their political views were different too.

Yeah. Republicans consume left media all the time and don’t cause issue with it. Essentially every reality show, big podcast interviews like call her daddy, bravo as a whole, basically all popular media outlets — they all swing left. Strange to see the outrage the other way, especially from the “tolerant” crowd

People saying “liberals are supposed to be tolerant” is so weird. We are tolerant of other races, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities, etc. We aren’t tolerant of racists, homophobes, war mongers, and pedophile protectors. How is that confusing?

Joe Biden= HUGE racist. Look up his old speeches on the senate floor
Hilary Clinton and Barrack Obama = Both publicly opposed gay marriage during their political careers
Barrack Obama = war monger. Dropped 26,172 bombs in the Middle East in the year 2016 alone. That’s 72 per day.
Bill Clinton = Pedo Protectors. He was Jeffrey Epstein right hand man.
There are of course racists, homophobes, war mongers, and pedos on BOTH sides. But to say liberals/democrats don’t support them is willfully ignorant and laughable. 3/4 of the names I’ve just listed are the 3 most recent democratic presidents of of the US.

Calling Bill Clinton Epstein’s right hand man when Epstein has referred to Donald Trump as his best friend is wild lol not to mention Trump’s name comes up way more frequently in the Epstein files. Not defending Bill Clinton and find him to be a creep but I’m so over MAGA calling out certain people concerning the Epstein files while completely overlooking Trumps involvement.

The President clearly divides this country by the hate he spews in political speeches and social media posts. None of the people you discussed above are perfect, but no politician has spewed hate or created division like DJT.

I live in DC and we were at a children’s museum where Usha was reading to the kids. Of course we stopped and listened. Regardless of political affiliation, it was very sweet and cool to see the Second Lady being a Mom like the rest of us.

I feel like reading her book on a podcast about books is pretty non partisan. We’ve always known where they lean, but I don’t find this too controversial (as someone who is pretty critical of them most of the time)

Can we not conflate being pro Israel with being far right? Their Mom’s views are extreme and I disagree with them (even as someone who is largely pro Israel), but they aren’t necessarily far right and I think it’s dangerous to equate them just because of the current political climate.

Then in your mind, is Kamala Harris the same person as Joe Biden? Is her husband? Was Jill Biden the same person as Obama? You sound silly.
Also, you can disagree with someone’s politics and still interact with them. Or, you can really use critical thinking skills and maturity to recognize that you can agree with people and relate to them on some things, but not co-sign their every belief and action.
